Tire Warmers...

Any of you track guys use these at all? Such as the one listed here (http://www.speedwerks.com/catalog/c53m0bm0b0s1pn1p1244np0)? ..I assume these are mostly geared towards usage for the track?

I will be buying a set for racing this year. But that price is outragous. I can get a much better set for like half that price. You need a generator as well to power them.

how long do they take to take to actually warm up the tire? and what temp. do you want them to be at when ur ready to race?

Some come with a control to set the temp and some dont. My Tire Bakers will have a control to set the temp and you can set them to your spec.

Wow, those are expensive, and then you'd have to buy a generator on top of that cost?? No thanks, I don't ride the track THAT often.
