You'll LOVE the mountains. And if you ski (or board), you'll really love the mountains in the winter. Check out Angel Fire or Sandia Peaks. I liked Angel Fire for it's remoteness, but Sandia was nice too. Either way, there are some nice canyon and mountain roads to ride in the summer.

I drove up to sadia peak, amazing view from the top. The ski area looked pretty cool as well. Gas Man 04-20-2007, 04:14 PM No I'm not going to Gratten... they denied me on taking the chopper on the track. Something about embarrassing Twisty or somin... DLIT 04-20-2007, 05:23 PM Well drive up to Vegas on the 9th of September and do the track day with me. It's only 8 hours away. Not moving to Albuquerque now. I passed up the offer and have decided to search for a job in the Phoenix area. :dthumb: Low 04-25-2007, 11:14 AM you don't say.....:readng: mind sharing?? Rider 04-25-2007, 11:17 AM you don't say.....:readng: mind sharing??
In the end it came down to location. The moneyy would have been great, but the schools suck. It just wasnt a place I could see living long term and I dont want to move anymore. This next move in going to be my last. So the location better be right. Low 04-25-2007, 11:39 AM Sound Reasoning...:dthumb: ne1469 04-25-2007, 07:52 PM Change of plans

It's way closer. fatburg 04-26-2007, 07:39 AM Congrats, Albuquerque is a whole lot warmer then MI:cheers: Rider 04-26-2007, 08:42 AM Congrats, Albuquerque is a whole lot warmer then MI:cheers:
Not going there now. I turned the job down. Im concentrating my job search to only Phoenix now. devilstonic 04-26-2007, 08:46 AM Phoenix is good too, but in the summer most of the people go riding at night because it just gets too hot during the day. Yeah, I'll have to get one of those fan packs that the AMA racers use after a race. :dthumb: Or get one of those water cooled race suits. devilstonic 04-26-2007, 08:57 AM I was going to suggest riding around nekkid, but your ideas are much better, that way you don't risk losing anything important! :) OneSickPsycho 04-26-2007, 11:03 AM I was going to suggest riding around nekkid, but your ideas are much better, that way you don't risk losing anything important! :)

Umm, have you ever been to Phoenix? I worked all over the state and Tucson is a whole lot nicer. Brizz 04-26-2007, 12:23 PM What about the chaps i use when i ride? tallywacker 04-26-2007, 01:12 PM Flagstaff is nice too.. but they get snow DLIT 04-26-2007, 11:27 PM Like Vegas, Phoenix is hot as balls. That's why we go riding at like 0630 and end around 9-10. I spent a lot of hot weekends at our nice spot practicing. And it worked. I'm not the slowest guy. | |
