tallywacker 04-21-2007, 07:02 PM there is a big difference between someone who doesn't participate in the forums then just starts soliciting than someone who is becoming a good part of the community and is just trying to hook someone up with a job.

i have the JR Reactor textile jacket. Love it!!! With liner, it's very warm, and waterproof. W/O liner, it's better than riding w/a t shirt, cause you have all the flow and cooling, and you still have PROTECTION!
GF also has a JR jacket, don't remember what model tho.. She too loves it. (and looks hot in it too)

just be careful with JR stuff... there was a HUGE counterfeit ring that was busted in Cali... and in New York.... some still might be circulating... especially in NY... the counterfeit stuff was REALLY reduced in quality... :2cents:

hmmm guess that rules out most ebay items? any way to tell the fake from the authentic gear?

I don't know... I haven't heard much about it in the last two years... though I have been in AK... and I first heard it from a JR Rep in Sacramento...
it may be all but cleared up... but I know they even had all the tags and stuff in them... :idk:
I'd just be wary of any "too good to be true" type deals

Gas Man 04-23-2007, 08:50 AM JR is great stuff. I knew a guy that went down like 10 times in his JR street jacket. The thing still functioned great!

Yep- I tried the Ballistic 3.0. Quality of the leather is good, and the zip-out material seems tough.
Just a little...baggy for my taste. Kind of an odd fit, and I don't really care for the zip-out pieces up the sides and sleeve.
saverok 04-23-2007, 02:45 PM I have the ballistic jacket in that pic and the pants that go with them....there is a zipper attached to the back of the jacket that zips to the pants....:dthumb:
I love them.
