TWF kickstand pucks?

Did anything ever come of this? I know someone had brought it up and were looking into it. I wouldn't mind chipping in some money (hopefully some others would too) if Shan allowed us to use the logo or had some made and shipped to me so I could pass them out to everyone that came to the unofficial rally as sort of a little hey thank you for coming gift or even to sell them and give the money made to the site. Sell any extras on the site and all proceeds back to the site.

We're actually still looking in to this. In fact, we just were discussing it recently.

We're actually still looking in to this. In fact, we just were discussing it recently. Yeah I was just asking cause the rally is getting close, so the window is getting smaller. I recently had to pick one up too, because the CBR's kickstand is tiny on the bottom.

I've never heard of a kickstand puck. What is it? :idk:

its usually a rubber pad that you put under the kickstand to give it a larger foot print and keep it from sliding.

its usually a rubber pad that you put under the kickstand to give it a larger foot print and keep it from sliding. Or in the really hot south and west, it will keep it from sinking into asphalt and tipping over.

Pics will have to be done by other people. I am going to be tied up shooting some vids of everyone. I am going to try and work to get a bunch of footage of everyone for like a TWF Rally video to help get it bigger for next year. Anyone want to edit it. Any word in the mod forums about the pucks yet marko since you are the only one responding to this thread.

We were and now again are looking into this. It honestly got forgotten about over winter. :damn: Just let me know if you want me to do this at the unofficial rally. I saw on that one website you could get about 250 for just over a $1 a piece. I would be willing to donate some money and I know others would too to get 250 as a test, so that we could hand them out as freebies as advertising. We would have to donate pretty quickly though to probably get them in time for the rally. I don't know how long these people take.

but... they look so...:gary: It's not suppose to be designer, it's just suppose to stop your bike from falling over and serve it's purpose. I use to use a piece of sheet metal I cut up. Although here where we ride bikes and not build them as show pieces, we prefer functional over pretty.

How does a very plain decagon look like a**. It isn't fancy at all and is just a simple shaped piece of plastic. That is why it is cheap, it's very plain and will let us who donate be able to advertise the site without spending a pile of cash. If you want something designed by Troy Lee, you fork out the cash for it.

This was just something I did real quick on the router, I had some extra space to use up. I don't use it all the time. On the other hand what are the others made of? I have plenty of PVC here at work. I could use that to make something. Light weight and if it gets lost or stolen it ain't a big deal.
