alright guys and gals, ive been looking for a bike and i dont want anything older than 2000, i want a 600 as i have been riding my cruiser for a year but i dont want to get anything bigger because i know i still have alot to learn.....i have been looking for a cbr600 or an r6 in the 3000-3500 price range but havnt found anything im guessing because of the time of year.

heres the question: my friend has a 2000 gsxr 750 with like 6xxx miles. he bought it stupidly knowing that his parents dont want him on a bike. he told me hed sell it for 3000, should i do it? i really would rather be on a cbr or r6 because i perferr the look and feel of them over the gsxr's...and the 2000 front end is really not all that attractive. should i buy it and ride it for the season and then attept to sell/trade for the bike i want? would i be able to trade it for a 2000-2003 r6/cbr in good condition? thanks for the help everyone
:thx1:

If you're still learning 3000 not a bad buy thats if you're going to get something bigger later.
