Captain Morgan 05-24-2007, 08:30 PM Saw a motorcycle for sale today and stopped to look at it. No, I'm not going to buy it, but still had to stop and look. I got back in the car and my daughter said, "what you doing, daddy?" I said, "looking at a motorcycle." She asked, "daddy have a motorcycle at his house?" I told her no, but daddy wants a motorcycle. She said, "allie get a motorcycle too, like daddy." I told her that she can when she gets older. The rest of the way home she kept saying, "where the motorcycle, daddy?" "allie get motorcycle when she big." I couldn't help but smile and had to share with the forum.

You've been away for awhile. I sold my Katana and bought an R6. Unfortunately, I made a decision to leave my job and try to start my own business, so I sold the R6. It turns out that I'm not a salesman, so I quit and went back to work. Problem was, I dug myself into a nice hole called debt. I'm trying to get out of it before I get another bike. But I look at bikes all the time. If I see one for sale, I stop and look at it. I want one so bad, but I'm old enough to know better. I just wish I was still too young to care.
GSXR1000DJ 05-24-2007, 11:54 PM I got ya. I know what your talking about. Best of luck in your search and journey. It will happen again someday. And when that day comes...look out. It took me 2yrs and 3 months. WOW that was a long wait.

perfect Cap!!! When she turns 5 get her a pocket bike!!
My lil nephew (his mom is one of my best friends, i'm not really his aunt) surprised me the other day. When he was about 1 1/2 I let him sit on my old 250, he loved it but didnt like when I turned it on for him. Then at about 2 I took him to daycare one morning and we were learning all the cars on the road: truck, car, etc. He saw a motorcycle and called it a bicycle, I told him what it really was and he sang it all the way into daycare! He's 2.5 now and I saw him the other night when we had dinner and he fell in love with my helmet, kept asking where my motorcycle was, etc...when we walked outside he pointed at my bike and said "whos that"? I told him it was mine and he immediately started asking for a ride. He ooohed and aahed over it and I told him when he gets bigger I will take him, now he asks me every time I see him!! It was too cute!!! And of course his mom is terrified I will get hurt and doesnt like it, i've already corrupted him!! :baha:
fpzx10 05-25-2007, 09:21 AM I love these cute kid stories. Here's mine.
My daughter is 3. She loves my bike. She even loved it when it was Kawi Green. Now she knows my favorite color is green so no matter if it is m&ms or jelly beans or whatever, I get the green ones because green is "daddy's favorite color". So we were watching the French Motogp the other day and dePuniet was actually leading and she said,"daddy's there's your bike!!!"
After painting the bike, I told her it was white, and she said, "no it's not, it's green." Well, she finally saw it and of course loved the white. She likes to sit on it and turn the throttle.
I can't wait til she's old enough for a dirt bike. (I just know I'll end up in court with her mom who hates motorcycles)

You must not of heard when she called you a bitch ass for not having a bike anymore. And that a new R6 is calling your name.

I heard it, but then I reminded her that if I don't pay child support, her mother (and the judge) won't let me see her. If that's the case, she'll never get to ride on my bike or get a bike of her own. She agreed that I should pay child support and hold off on the bike for now.
