Bitch Protector

so I own a ninja 250 and I am just starting to ride :)... actually today was the first day on the road solo... and I definitely don't want to ride people... so what I really want to get is a Bitch Protector... do they sell them for that style of bike? Also what is the downfall/postives to having a bitch protector on a bike??

um when you say bitch protector, do you mean rear cowl, grab bar, or what? im confused as to what you want.

Yeah I guess that term is a middle NY term because as I asked around locally from all the people that I ride with and also our local shops refer it to as that... but when I googled Bitch Protector nothing came up, however thank you ya 'all for reffering me to the solo cowl... That is the right term for what I am looking for. However, I am still unable to find one for my ninja 250... Does anyone know if they sell them? and where I could buy it from...?? I think that Bitch Repellant is a more fitting term as well and I am going to pass it on...

yea, im sure you'll be able to find a solo cowl for your 250... check ebay. if all else fails, when im looking for goodies, i allways check targa as well. they seem to have a lot of good stuff for older/less popular bikes.

Ya I checked EBAY as soon as I figured out the name from you guys (thanks by the way) and all they had was like this leather cover thing, not the plastic one, and it was totally the wrong green.... See that is something that I don't understand.... A ninja 250 is a starter bike that most people buy to begin with. In my opioion, it is the best sportbike 250... and yet you can't find nothing to do with them and all the parts for it is always backordered... Even if I want to lower my bike, most companies are backordered for the dogbones that I need. During this time of year, alot of new shorter riders start riding, don't you think that they would produce more going into the riding season? All I got to say is Grrrrrrr..........

Yups, that is the same site that I came across... I have an '03 and its exactly that green and I love it ;) and as much as I wish that was plastic, I'd buy it right now, but it appears to basically look like leather and not the simular color, its a different color.

Not to :jacked: but Solo cowls don't always work, especially if you are stupid. (not trying to say you are) Saw a squid the other day mackin on some chicks, convinced one of them to go for a ride on his bike. SO he hops on, in backwards hat, shades, tennies, shorts and tshirt, she gets on behind him sitting on the cowl, as he had no seat on, and she's wearing capri's flip flops, tank top, and paris hilton glasses. dumb dumb dumb :nonod: she was hot tho.

I will probably order it early july because our local paint shop won't do it till then :( but never the less, its definitely something to look forward to getting and then put on... and don't worry, I unlike those guys, was born with a few more ounces of intelligence and know that once its on, the only one on my bike is ME!!! :)

I came across a seat cowl today that actually had the storage compartment on it for the 250's... I wasn't crazy about the way it looks though and I am still eager to order from the company that you all recommended... but I didn't know they existed so I wanted to pass on the info.
