itgirl25 05-30-2007, 03:34 PM here's a few pics of me and my 'R'. these are the only pics i have of me with it. must get some more. i keep it in my in-laws garage with the other harleys and boss hoss due to not having a garage of my own, so i don't often have the camera with me when i get it out.
TOMMYTOM 05-30-2007, 03:37 PM I see the leather boots but where's the bikini?:tt:
itgirl25 05-30-2007, 03:38 PM  i don't do bikinis...
SVRider 05-30-2007, 03:41 PM Just curious?
Do you wear the same gear on your harley as on your street bike, or different for each bike?
Just wondering, seems like most cruiser riders have a different style than SB riders. :idk:
Look at GMan for example.
and not a bad bike... for a harley
R1up0n1 05-30-2007, 04:17 PM Where's your chaps, leather jacket and helmet?
ceo012384 05-30-2007, 04:19 PM Where's your chaps, leather jacket and helmet?
And that's a skull-cap half helmet to be exact.
nice bike though, for what it is.
Captain Morgan 05-30-2007, 04:57 PM I love the V-rods and I've told you before that I like your bike. My favorite is the brushed aluminum look, though.

i wear the jacket in the photo, it's a 3 in 1. it has the zip out liner and the front zips off to reveal mesh underneath. it also has armor. i made sure to get a jacket that does. i wear the same joe rocket gloves on both bikes, and i have a full face shoei for this bike as well. my icon superduty 2 boots pull double duty for both bikes. i make no exceptions with gear, whether it's a harley or not. :dthumb:
nice!

it is part of the v-rod series. all v-rod models start with the VRSC label, it's the last letter (or letters) that define the model. for example, mine is the VRSCR (street rod). there is the VRSCA (original v-rod), VRSCDX (night rod special-all blacked out), VRSCSE (screamin' eagle v-rod)...you get the idea. but they are all v-rods. the main difference is the position of the controls. most have forward controls, the street rod has mid-controls and it is taller to provide more ground clearance for aggressive riding. it is the sporty v-rod model. and it is also out of production.

Gas Man 06-03-2007, 10:00 AM I really like the v-rods. They have a nice look. Plus they can produce some major power. Did you ever get your new gauges in? Where's your aftermarket exhaust? My buddy has a night rod with some aftermarket exhaust made by a guy. It sounds good and runs hard! The HD dealer said its one of the best running pipes and tuning setups they have ever saw. Let me know if your interested and I'll find out who/what/where...

When I bought my bike Saturday they had a V-Rod Destroyer sitting in the service area... The shop owns it and takes it to the drag strip on weekends... I sat on it... I got wood.
