I wanted to wait until other things in my life were resolved, but the Avalanche just couldnt wait any longer, it was in need of some maintenance. So I traded it in for what I owed on it and leased a GMC Acadia keeping my payments the same.:dthumb: Its just the FWD model but since Im not staying in MI, I dont need the AWD.

Yeah I was jsut talking to the wife about our vechicles... I'm sooo bored with them right now... My leases are up in Aug/Oct but I will probably start looking again in July... so like 1 more month... cause if tehre is a big enough rebate for a 2007 I'll pay the extra 1 month for the early turn in...

Are they GM? Sometimes GM has "Pull Ahead" programs that lets you trade 2-3 months early.

:iagree: and who doesn't love porn stars?! I don’t think anyone loves porn stars. People like to see them to their thang but that’s about it. I would not touch a porn star or any of his or her belongings. Hummmm does that make me a racist?

Just curious, since you bought the Acadia, did you look at the Saturn Outlook at all?? They are essentially the same vehicle, and often the Saturn is cheaper. Just lookin out. :2cents:

:puke: on a lease... I wouldn't be able to stand being limited on my mileage. Also I gotta have a truck b/c it's always there when I need it moving, hauling the bike or whatever... I guess people have other priorities though.

Just lookin out. :2cents: Yes I looked at the Saturn Outlook. I even looked at the Buick Enclave (all the same car) and I liked the options on the Acadia better. I didnt like the grill on the Saturn, and I didnt like the wooden steering wheel on the Buick. The Acadia was about $1500 more than an identically equiped Outlook but was about $1500 less than an identically equiped Enclave

I guess people have other priorities though. I put less than 10K miles on my cars each year, so a lease was pretty easy to do.

Saturn doesn't negotionate, but if it's a lease I guess there's not too much to negotionate there. I get a GM Supplier discount so there was no negotiating anyway. Oh and yes, you can negotiate on a lease.

Are they GM? Sometimes GM has "Pull Ahead" programs that lets you trade 2-3 months early. Yeah one is a chevy. Lease ends in Dec... 2-3 month pull ahead puts it in aug/oct area... but if the rebates are kickin and I still save I would condier turning it in early. All matters on the money. Lookin like a swap Equinox (hers) for Tahoe (me). Then F150 (mine) for a Lincoln MKZ (her), the car not the small suv thing. Going upgrade on them too... leather everywhere, moon roofs, premium sound and rims. I want something better than normal this time. Plus the MKZ gets great gas milage it has a good amount of hp.

I am 95% sure that my next vehicle will either be a jeep wrangler or a mustang bullitt. My grandma bought a bullitt in 01, and being the most responsible grandkid and my grandpa's favorite, they will probably sell it to me halfway through college or when I finish it. A jeep just seems like it would be incredible fun to drive.

If by great you mean 22/28 then sure. Love the cars, but most are getting about that... from what I've heard anyway. Anything over 20 is great for me... my truck gets 14 on a good day. But they get more than that. My bro has a fusion and he gets 30 all the time... esentially the same car.
