Brizz 06-01-2007, 09:47 AM To you, what is a stupid question? I was reading another forum and read where some one asked how to take off the gas sticker on the tank. I felt that it was stupid and it really annoyed me. I know this person and it just seemed like they went retarded, or jst wanted to make a post for teh sake of doing it. I dunno...:idk:
have patience grasshopper!!
it all depends on your experience, but some knowledge we take for granted isnt!
What we know we learned from experience and asking questions, thats how people learn new things and can share with others. I am sure you werent born knowing how to take the sticker off a gas tank right?
Or say you wanted to learn to kite surf...were you born knowing what gear you would need? or the best times to do it? or the best places? I know its a weird example, but it can apply to anything.
There is no such thing as a stupid question, and once a person asks a question, they know the answer and wont need to ask again.
:2cents:
Brizz 06-01-2007, 10:04 AM Yeah i guess...But other than showing all of my ignorance to the whole world. Id ask those close to me first so that i didnt say something that was too stupid. I guess since i do know this person and i know that info is just a phone call away, thats the route i woul dhave gone..
If you honestly dont know anyone and there is no one else to ask, then yes ask. But this person does know ppl and it just seemed a cry for attention..It annoyed me.
Rider 06-01-2007, 10:09 AM The only questions I find stupid are the "Is the Busa or ZX14 a good first bike? All others are good questions really. You have to learn things from somewhere and some peopal are too lazy to read a book so they ask questions which is ok I think.

I guess I can kinda understand that, my mind just doesnt comprehend why someone would do that...:idk:
and I'm with rider, unless its THAT question...i dont mind any questions...
i mean, i'd rather someone ask something, than do something on their own and get it wrong...
like try to use a heat gun on a metal gas tank or something...now that would be interesting...
Becca_007 06-01-2007, 11:45 AM An answer might only be a phone call away but on the interent someone else might have a different or even better answer.

byron12 06-03-2007, 07:20 AM I read a **** ton of books so mainly the dumb questions I end up asking are clarifications of acronyms. The only dumb question is one that is never asked except the obvious justify my retarded first bike purchase question.
Brizz 06-03-2007, 07:49 AM I guess i believe that there are no stupid questions, only stupid people.
itgirl25 06-03-2007, 08:53 AM stoopid question: wife: does this make me look fat?

always answer "no".
same goes for women when the husband asks "was that good for you?" after sex. always say "the best i ever had, honey".
little white lies don't hurt and they keep everyone happy.
Brizz 06-03-2007, 09:02 AM If she asks always say "yes". The honesty will prompt her to go to the gym.

DoktorPete 06-03-2007, 09:40 AM I'll give ya a stupid question, one that I made stupider by answering it stupidly.
After informing me that A/C works for warm air too, I look at my friend and say "What the *bleep* does A/C stand for anyway...accellerated current?" I was 100% serious. Once he started laughing it clicked in that I am slow.
airforceranger49 06-03-2007, 06:02 PM yes, i'll admit, questions that i hear, that to me seem stupid, can sometimes be annoying... but i still answer them. i would rather me be annoyed by a question then have some noob go out and kill himself on a bike cuz he was too afraid to ask:idk:
1BadCBR 06-03-2007, 07:19 PM Is everyone crazy or is it just me....wait, is that a stupid question
