Any of you Mountain bike ride?

I used to all the time. Then I moved out of the mountains. Now my bikes are collecting dust in the basement.

Yeah I have been riding for about 10 years. But the whole pedal power thing is not looking as good now that there is a 2002 Yamaha WR 426 sittin next to them in the garage.

No mountains around here but I do a bit of light trail riding and as of late a lot of laps around the subdivision with my Trek 4500. In fact I just bought a new seat today.

I have a custom built Rocky Mountain Element T.O. and a Bianchi D.I.S.S.

Used to ride a 2001 RM6 with JRT fork for about 4 years. Paid over $3,000 for it. Now I have a 2002 Trek 5500 all carbon that sits in my room collecting dust because all I ride now is my beloved R1. Now I'm like....what the he** was I pedalling for?

Trek 930 (cannot beat good ol' chro mo for stiffness IMHO), control tech bars/barends/ti skewers (quick release is for puzzies), Rock Shocks Future Shocks (since swapped for some cheapie Specialized), STX everything (never could justify the XT or XTR ... all worked pretty much the same), Samson ti hubs (sealed bearings of course), and a bunch of other trick bits from 10+ years ago that I cannot remember... Everything that could be bought in anodized green was (everyone and their mom had the blue/purple stuff)...

use to, alas, my poor Cannondale hard tail just collects dust now:nonod:
