Frame Sliders

Thinking about ordering a set of LSL frame sliders for my FZ. Anybody got any experience with these. Just with the half naked think they might look a little nicer as well as being good to have.

i know katana pilot is glad he had his on his kat when it got knocked over,and I wish I would have had them on mine. we talked about this a long time ago, i think..are you talking about getting the kind that drill into ur frame, or bolt on ?

i think its a great idea, I like the look of them alot, and for such a small investment, price wise, and the benefits if you ever drop your bike or lay it down, you really cant go wrong...IMO! :)

Get the frame sliders. You will not regret it. Get out Speedwerks for good prices on it as well. :dthumb:

Frame sliders are good protection...Gas man's look like they took a real hit!

I have tons of experence with frame sliders. I ONLY use Intuitive fram sliders. They are that best and that is NOT an opinion...It's that facts jack. I tell you how many times I have wrecked on those sliders and evertime they keep my bike from flippiing and and smashing the RAD. They are awsome and if you buy anything else I feel sorry for you. Ask Gas he bought lockhearts crap and the bent and cracked the plastic.

I had frame sliders on my bike but they need to make something for them d@nm curbs!!! lol

Im with Twisty about Intuitive. Those sure look good though, hope you never can tell us how they hold up. :thumbs:

I wish I'd seen this earlier. I bought Shogun sliders that don't require me to cut any plastic on my new R6. I realize you guys said Intuitiv are best, but does anybody know anything about Shogun?

Frame sliders are good protection...Gas man's look like they took a real hit! I heard that the CF ones would snag / catch and not slide any more... I really wanted to get a set before I heard that... but I'll stick with Ol' reliable

i got shoguns now cap. at first i just used the adapters, then i went down(right side) one day. the adapter just slid back and the ferring cracked right by the ferring screw by the adapter. if you got the black adapters expect the finish to turn a bronze color (very ugly). i replaced the right side and bought a dremel and practiced grinding a hole for the slider on my busted ferring, then did it on the new one. i suggest you take the time and get this done. plus it looks sweet!.... http://bikepics.com/pictures/292640/ the left side is much easier.
