Aprilia Shiver

Hi all... I'm the new guy. Sharing the new Aprilia Shiver. It's coming here to the Netherlands in August and my plan is to go put a deposit this weekend. Man I love the look of that bike.

I'd ride it as a second bike...

Love it, the side frame looks kind of like an SV. Now I can say my bike shares some design elements with an Aprillia :dthumb:

I like that paint scheme better but i just think the bike looks weird overall to each his own though. I think the R6 looks badass and some ppl think it looks like Christoper Walkins with down syndrome :bonk:

That's the most naked naked I've yet seen. Aprilia has pared away everything almost to the bare skeleton. It's getting close to dirtbike-bare. I love it. If I didn't need more wind protection for highway speeds, I'd get one. 59.7 ft-lbf @ 7000, 93.7 SAE hp @ 9000 (Aprilia's value - 95 hp - is in DIN/SI hp, not SAE hp) I love the splash screen that logan1 posted too. Ah, Italy... :D

I see some similiarities between the two bikes, however.... IMO the suzuki B-king is the baddest naked around. IMO the suzuki B-king is the baddest naked around. Its not really nekkid tho IMO. And it's not "around", no ones ridden it yet except for the model in that video on the lazy susan. It could suck for all we know. Looks pretty sweet though.

Its in the 2008 line-up for the USA. My dealership only has 1 alloted at this time. I only wish they left it as it began back in 2001-2002. B-King stands for Boost King originally it was to have a supercharged 1300CC powerplant...:drool: :cheers:

I had the opportunity to test a few motorcycles out of my normal comfort zone (race-replica segment) so I'd thought I'd share my thoughts/reviews: The 2008 Shiver (http://www.2wf.com/content/view/1774/28/) will defintiely leave you with a chill. It was either that or a pirate joke - "Argh, Shiver me timbers mate!" :D The 2008 Moto Guzzi Breva 1200 Sport (http://www.2wf.com/content/view/1715/28/) is one of those motorcycles that you won't normally find at the local bike night.

Great looking bike! Too bad the name sounds like something you get at Dairy Queen.
