the gsxr bug hit me the day I hate jump start urs, twice..that was enough..i had a kink in my shoulder and I was only on it for what, bout 60 seconds.. :D

Ok, Friday night I should have pics of my knees on the pavement... can any one show me how to do this? http://www.martinellimotorsports.com/albums/mmracing/jennings_5_24_001.sized.jpg Thats hot...Power sliding is so much fun but your tires go bye bye real fast. I will show you @ the gap how to do this..... :redmc: Also I noticed my laptimes are a little slower when powersliding. Then I read a great writeup on sliding and it does slow you lap times down when you using it though the turn but on the entrance it is better. It looks cool but it not much help unless you use it in the correct times.

I'm with Twisty...lets see it. And I agree with Shan as well....only right before the crash for the powerslide. I did it once before and not trying to either. Scared the poop out of me. :D

The first one, I was just learning, and had no clue how to hang off the bike properly so I obviously did not put a knee down. Of course, there was a track photographer that day, and he got some pics, but the suck because I don't have a knee down. By the next track day I had done some reading and practicing and I was able to put a knee down at the track. Of course, there was no photographer there. :( The only proof I have is video from the track day, but I don't have any way of putting it on computer since it was taken with an old VHS-C camera and I don't have the hardware or software to transfer it to computer. However, I just bought a digital camcorder and it came with software so I WILL have video that I can upload come spring. Hopefully, there will be a photographer at the track as well and I can get some good photos to post up.

Here is the only "knee dragging" pic of me from the last track day. Unfortunately, you can't tell crap from the pic because it was taken from the stands with a non-zoom digital camera. The other pic is me all geared up on the Kat waiting to go out onto the track.

Granted, the tape is a bit more expensive, but it's well worth it when you have to remove it. And DJ, yes, I know, it's very difficult to find the bike in that pic. :lol: That's why I was even hesitant to post it. ;) I can't wait to go to the track when the professional photographer is there so I can actually get some good pics. They let him go stand at the corners and he gets some pretty sweet pics.
