The whole video shows me following fpzx, I turn right around and chase NTS, then get to the store get a quick drink of water and chase drewpy, when I get to the overlook I haul a** back through and keep going back to tapoco to checkout. I should of got interviews but we were usually having too much fun to even think about taping any of it.

yea give us some you speeds/posted speeds Speeds are too random on the dragon to really post what it is. You go from high 20s-30s in some tight corners to 40s-60s in some of the corners to 90 in the long straights.

Remind us all again what helmet cam setup you have... I was looking at the whole package from www.helmetcamera.com as a Christmas present to myself... I am slightly leary of the recorder thing though... I have the helmetcamera.com package, but I have my own recorder thing. You can get just the bullet cam and plug it into a regular MiniDV or DVD camcorder. I have a Canon Elura 100 camcorder.

Works good enough for stupid you tube videos. I need to find a better compression software. JLBusa said he had one that worked great, so I need to get with him on what he has.

I find myself usually 10-20 above the posted recommended limits on the curves in the foothills around here. The dragon seems to have aton of tighter turns verses whats around here. Great riding guys n gals. I cant wait to get up there n run it now. :dthumb:

Yea I just think the dragon has alot of turns in tat short stretch that makes it so popular. We got nice roads all round us here being in the appalachian foothills. I still wanna go ride it, meet these guys.

Yea me too OSP, I get a lil faster if I know the road tho. I have about 1/8" inch strips after yesterday... Today I did a lot of riding on the slab, so now I have part 1" strips, part 1/8" strips... :lol: Heh, some dude at Iron Pony today sorta scoffed at me as I was de-gearing when I got off my bike... I said, 'You know why I wear all this?... Cause my tires look like this *point at my tire* and your tires look like that *point at the 1+" strips on his R6*... those are called chicken strips...' I don't know about trip but i prefer to run from nc to tn for some reason. the vids are great btw I am definitly going next year I didn't have it in me to run up there and then come work the night shift I haven't even been up there once this year My sister is getting married in a couple of weeks though so I am going up to mars hill and my wife is driving I am going to be riding. I agree that nts is crazy he no longer is allowed to be a safety nazi not with is head hangin out in the other lane and is tire in the yellow line at dramatic lean. He will end up being a great rider though he certainly has the balls....:lol:

Hey Trip.. which way do your prefer to run the dragon? north bound. Pretty much everyone likes that way, lefts are easier for me and all the switch backs are lefts that way. It is also uphill and you can engine brake most of the corners. A lot of really bad wrecks tend to happen northbound because of the increased speed.

Yea, it wasnt a matter of i dont know proper form, but when hauling ass through the hill like that if i were to lean off any further my legs would have gotten some serious rash. i was getting my upper body and head over as much as possible while trying to tuck my leg into my fairing. next time imma have some pucks and then i'll have some real fun. most of that was my feelers scraping, a couple times my exaust hit :yikes: . trip suggested some raisers, im looking into it. Oh and i know you cant really tell but when im goin around those lefts and my heads over the double, 90% of the time i could see through the turn, so no worries. just the camera angle makes it look a little iffy.

Video doesn't do that place justice. It looks a lot slower and turns a lot easier than what it actually is.
