There was an ad in the Sunday paper for an 05 XB12R for $5000. A killer deal so I had to call. Despite bills that needed paid my wife gave the ok to call and possibly purchase. :hug: So I called the guy. He lived about 5 minutes from me so I went over.
Well...one look and I decided no way. The firebolt was a STUNT BIKE! Dood was sponsored by Buell. It had the cage, the 12 o'clock bar, the whole deal. :gary: custom paint. All the crap. Said it was religiously maintained, :blah:
I listed to his schpeel and took off. I'll keep looking.

Thats the truuf Holmes. But it ain't happening. I couldn't really afford this one...but it would have been a deal I couldn't pass up.
Next year I'll get an 07 or 06. No big deal...unless another unbeatable deal comes up.

You can always punch it out to 1150 or so... At that point with the higher revs it actually beats the 12R... It's said to be reliable too, but :idk:...

YEah...if 1bad is serious about the $4k...thats one hell of a deal. But driving to GA to pick it up???? 1bad...how far do you deliver, friend? :lol:
