Anybody know anything about this movie? I just got some free tickets to see an advanced showing tonight. It is ok to take my kids to see it? Its PG-13.

It looks really cool til u see its about robots...Just kidding! It's a Michael Bay film so Its prolly gonna be action packed and kickass! (he directed The Rock, Armageddon, Pearl Harbor)

They end up going to a friends house and watching it when it comes out on dvd if you dont. You also get cool dad points for giving them a reason to brag to their little friends

I am sure it will be fine for kids....at least when I used to play with them and watch the cartoon it was fine. LOL The one thing I am hoping for in the movie is that at some point they have the voice that says....... "Transformers...more than meets the eye." LOL

This caused the company to start putting stickers on the original transformers. The stickers were black, but if you put your finger over the sticker, it would cause it to show the transformer emblem. As you got the emblem hotter, it would change colors. Start out as blue for just a small amount of heat, then change to red for the hottest. Go-bots were the cheap transformers.

First off, since I never watched it as a kid I didnt relize there were good transformers (Autobots) and bad transformers(decepticons). The CGI is incredible, the acting is also good. It has a little of every thing, action comedy, hot cars(2008 Camaro) and some super hot eye candy. They also definitely set it up for a sequel. I dont want to talk about it too much and give some of it away but the movie is very actioned packed. One thing I noticed which they never talked about in the movis was the young girl computer analyst has a tattoo on her neck that matches the marking on the "box" They dont point it out in the movie and you have to really look close to notice it as it is covered by her hair. I just thought it was strange that they never mentioned it.

But the previews really do look incredibly good... glad to hear it's living up to the hype! :D

Well, I was at least able to make it halfway through that one... The dude's voice in general makes me want to vomit... Sounds like he's trying to sex up Transformers... :gary:

I was a big transformers fan as a kid, so this is probably one of the most highly anticipated movies for myself. I can't wait to see it, and judging by some of the reviews here, looks like I won't be dissappointed. There is one thing I am dissappointed with though...I understand that VW didn't want any of their cars in the movie because they didn't want any violence associated with their cars, but honestly, I'd rather they not have put Bumble Bee in the movie than have him in their as a new camaro (instead of a volkswagon bug.) Kinda changes the face of the character way too much for me. Still, I'm excited to see it.

I just got home from seeing the movie, on the ULTRA screen no less. This movie freeking ROCKS!!!! I so want to put a deposit in on an 08 Camaro now, or an 08 Challenger. But the Challenger was a bad guy :idk: does that matter? Anyway, EVERYONE GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!! The HS chick ain't bad lookin either :wink: :drool: The whole way home I was just hoping my Cutlass was going to transform into a new ______ muscle car... didn't happen. The 08 Camaro rocked more than the movie but it wasnt bad. Then again a movie full of hot cars, chicks, and alot of **** blowin up never is bad :lol:

I guess the whole geeky kid gets coolish older car, trys to get hot chick, car turns to kick @ss new muscle car, and then they all get it on. I'm still waiting for my car to do it's transformation.

I saw it friday night, it was TOTALLY worth seeing. best movie I've seen in awhile, besides 300.

Now that I have seen it, they were true to Bumblebee. He is still is the g*ya** that he was in the cartoons. The movie was completely cheesy, which is good in this case because the cartoon was really cheesy. The special effects were cool, but I wouldn't say it was a great movie. It was good, but not great. The chick, Megan Fox, is from Rockwood. Which isn't very far from where I work.

Just saw it last night, and I'll have to say that this movie rocks. Great CGI, decent story, hot chicks, and parts that were just hilarious. I recommend this one.

I cant believe how great this movie is. I like how Bay threw in there a crack at that stupid movie Armageddon he made. The fat kid with the camera running to the crash site in the early part of the movie says "Wow this is way better than Armageddon!" I laughed pretty hard in the theater but not too many others caught it

That would be great, I have always wanted to see a fight between two people that lasted 20 billion years in live action would look like. Good god was the plot on that show slow. It took 90 episodes for something to happen besides people transforming into a more powerful being for the 200 millionth time. Yeah i liked DBZ for a short time but after i relized it was gonna take me 3 months to see any progress in the show i said screw Yeah it's really long... I would invision the Saiyan Saga as one movie, followed by Freiza, and the Android/Cell Sagas as the third... I couldn't see them doing the Buu Saga... The reason it's so long is because in the original comic strip was to be stretched out into a bunch of full blown TV seaons. I have read interviews with the guy who wrote it and he talked about how they increased the sub-plots and battle scenes a ridiculous amount just to stretch it out... In fact, the Garlic Jr Saga was totally made up as filler... I have all the episodes on my computer... along with GT... I have watched all of them many, many times...
