I just found out my Father in law has bought me a set of stands from Handy Industries in Marshalltown. Iowa. Being in Des Moines, I guess he knows someone there. My question is, Has anyone bought/used Handy stands, or know anything about them??? Are they a quality product? I don't want to hurt his feelings, (except for the sh!^ I give him about the weather) But I also don't want to be lubing the chain or changing the oil and have the Bee take a fall. Anyone?

Yes they are the rubber padded, these are supposed to be a surprise for xmas but daughter told me about them as I was buying others online. Glad I waited!! I am guessing they are like the ones posted, I will do some checking, and then post some pics when they arrive!

I haven't personally used their stands but most of their other products are really good quality so I wouldn't expect anything less from their stands.

BTW - I've actually been to Marshalltown, Iowa but back then I didn't know Handy was there or I would have stopped in to check them out.

Yes, I got them. they were 112.00 including shipping from Iowa to Florida. they are sturdy and stable. The fronts are designed to fit into the holes in the front shocks and the rears are universal with pads that lift under the swing arms or made for spools, your choice. I have looked at several different brands and I am happy with them. Check them out,

They're worth what you paid for them. just decent and thats all.
Mine bent when i sat on the bike while on the stand.
Get pitbulls if you want a stand that will last forever.

Oh yeah... I agree...the pit bulls I bought were a bit more money but when you feel the quality of craftsmenship and the materials it is well worth the extra $$$.
Which ones did you have? by link title?

Ill stick with my PitBull's
My wife bought me some yellow stands off ebay for a ahh yellow bike.
They are cheap made.
I don't know what she paid but, I hope it wasn't much.
I needed another set.
Its a pain to take one bike off the stand to use on another.
