I regret to inform you,

but this evening during the fireworks and festivities, there was an extremely horrific event involving barbie, and her boyfriend ken, alcohol and fireworks. while it is unclear exactly what happened, I can safely say that I believe barbie and ken were very intoxicated, and decided to strap themselves to bottle rockets claiming "we're movin to mars!" when the bottle rockets exploded in midflight. no official word from authorities on what will become of the barbie mansion and her pink corvette. we think they're next victims of the mortar brigade and bonfires. pictures to come when the remains are found.
