How do you feel about underlighting/ground effects?

I was thinking in getting some blue ones for my bike. :dthumb:

I like them..but mainly for show..and since all the local popo's have a hard on for neon's, i probably wouldnt get much use outta them.

I saw some bikes on main street in Daytona that had them in different fashions. Some were mounted under the seat, tank, fairings etc. I saw a couple that were well set up and looked good. Mostly, I think they are an expensive distraction

I think neons are aweful in cars, but somehow arent as offensive on bikes. still, i wouldnt put any on my bike. mabye if i see some tactfully done i may change my mind.

They suck, squidy ***** but hey if you think it makes you go faster by allmeans do it. I would spend money on my bike for HP mods than spend on pretty mods. I hate pretty bikes, My 1k is not pretty....it is fast.

I was thinking in getting some blue ones for my bike. :dthumb: Not much point though. In the state of PA, neon lighting is illegal to drive around with. Now you can park your bike and turn them on, but as soon as you turn that throttle, they gotta get turned off. :)

alot of hogs have them mounted in the middle of thier engines as well, see alot of those during the hog rallies

I wouldn't put them on my bike, but if I had a customer that was going to pay me to install them, I wouldn't say no :D Larry

Those things are for squids!!!! I'm with Twisty on this!! But then again my views on bikes has changed quite a bit over the years. Years ago I like them, but now I don't! DJ, if you put those on your GSXR, I'm going to break them all when I see them at the GAP!!!!!!!
