Phenix_Rider 07-18-2007, 07:47 PM Is that aftermarket bodywork? The lines don't look quite right, and the tail is really odd.

My pics this year sucked! Last years pics were a lot better. They just didn't get good shots of me this year... I know I got lower.
nice!

It's just the way I have the pictures sized, and the bike was really long.
Is that aftermarket bodywork? The lines don't look quite right, and the tail is really odd. Yes it is after market bodywork, which I was not done with it because the bike was to go into the paint shop at the end of last month, however wrecking it and selling it changed my mind on that. The tail section was a race tail section therefore it was a solo cowl. However it still looks the same as the OEM tail.
You look like a little kid on that bike.
oldman2007 07-19-2007, 04:46 AM I will have my pics in September... Actually will probably be in dailytimes but we'll keep a positive outlook and say killboy instead. Going down with a few cruisers so they'll keep me sane I'll actually be the only sportbike in the group.
And R1 could be angle of shot but looks like you missed the apex in one of those turns and were going to swing really wide on the next.
Yeah, your pics were better last year. Were you just not feeling it this year?

Yeah- I remembered that after I posted. And then I couldn't find the thread after I closed the tab:scratch:

Yeah I know it! The 03 R1 was just really long, and hell I'm only 5'5" tall.

I probably messed up a line in that shot looking at the camera man.

I was feeling it this year, I just think the camera guys got bad pics of me this year.

lmao my bet is you leave the cruisers behind  Cruisers cant go near as fast as a sportbike thru em. Well not w/o draggin their pipes off that is lol
justpucky 07-19-2007, 01:50 PM Or I know of one switch back where the larger cruisers catch their floor boards (the foot plate thing) and float the rear tire, which can lead to a low side.
PlayfulGod 07-19-2007, 01:59 PM I know on the few half runs n 2 full runs (1 a night run) I was at almost a full lean, and to me I wasnt going that fast, scraped my toe sliders a few tyme b4 I change my foot position on the pegs, and I just barely kept Trip n them in sight, like 3 - 4 turns ahead of me, and that was a partial run to where the :cursin: truck was stuck lol. On the night run Trip escorted the trucker that knew how to drive up and I follwed his 2 buds up, needless to say they got to the store a good 5-10 minutes b4 me
