Quick disco's???

I have a feeling I know the answer to this but I'll ask anyway. Does anyone use a quick disconnect system on there helmet strap or just the D-rings? I've heard some mixed reviews and just curious because the D-rings are just a pain but worth the time if it will help save my melon.

I wouldn't ever use anything but the d-rings! Quick disconnects...never seen them but I don't want my helmet to quickly disconnect when I really need it!!

These would certainly be handy..but from a safety and confidence issue, I'll stick with my D-rings everytime. Haven't let me down yet..

Looks to me like plastic quick clip versus metal D-ring. Football helmets have a quick snap, but how often do they get knocked off after a nice hit? A motorcycle helmet may take several hits during an accident. I'll take D-rings. My Shoei has a red strap on the inner D-ring that makes for quick removal.

(I know, I know, your afreyed knot!!! good one) thanks To undo the D-rings, you have to loosen the strap going through the inner D-ring. when you pull on the little red strap on the inner D-ring, it loosens it's hold on the strap. My Shoei (TZ-1) also has a plastic catch on the end that fits into the two D-rings so there is no tucking.
