Few weeks ago Black widow took bite out my leg. Wound started out as small two fang marks. Then turned nasty silver dollar sized red with skin peeling. Used Neosporin for 7 days no help:crazy: Showed wife wound she hands me bottle of Emu oil, me thinks this is snake oil. Right off the bat wound started to heal, after three days you can not make out black widow bite:cheers: Outback snake oil really worked

Then again, a guy my dad works with got bit by one in NE Ohio and almost lost his arm... :idk: Bottom line... I don't fluck with spiders.

That article doesn't make them seem real dangerous. But ugly as all hell. The odds of them killing you are small, but their venom destroys the tissue fairly quickly and can lead to gang green... Bad news.

brown recluse and black widows are pretty common around here. I have killed several brown recluse spiders and one of my managers went to the hospital with a bad bite.

Kinda like the independant/green party is to the republicans and democrats? Or did you mean gangrene?

And you didn't go to the hospital??!?!? Went to Dr three days after bite, when wound started to look nasty. Since I did not feel ill, Dr said let bite run its course, put neosporin on wound. Also told me if I start to feel sick or feel pains in my sides to contact him right away.

I lived in AZ for a while, plenty of black widows around, but I never knew anyone to get bitten. I actually took one to show and tell in third grade- scooped it up in a jar from under the grill on the back porch. Freaked out all the girls...and the teacher...

You should have let one of your cats open a can of whoop ass on that spider! They would have probably just eaten it!
