Enough is Enough!

.... so I got the new cycle world in the mail.. started flipping, and on the firs6t couple of plages I run across an ad.... American Chopper: The Video Game. Available for PS2 and Xbox What is this world coming to.... I mean the show is ok, I watch it sometimes, its entertainment. But a freakin video game>????! Cmon! :bash: :flush: :cursin:

American Chopper is a marketing machine. What started out as a iron works machine shop, and Paul Sr. making his first custom chopper with a small Miller elec welding setup in the back of his pickup, and assembling it in his basement has turned into the hottest thing around. It's truely amazing what they've done, whether ur into choppers or not, the fabricating and creativeness of thier designs are unreal.!! :eek:

I saw the same thing last night after I checked my mail for the first time in 3 days and there was my mag. When I saw it, I am going to say that I was thinking just the opposite of you. I was thinking of getting it. Sorry. Don't get me wrong....love my jap bike but would play the game. :)

Soon enough I will be sitting down on my American chopper brand chair, grab my AC brand remote control that makes farting noises, turn on my Monster Garage TV, grab my AC brand beer complete with chopper beer cozy, scratch my ass through my AC brand underwear, only to fall asleep and dream of a marketing free land :D More power to them though for making it, but it just brings my faith in the people on this planet down even more :)

How Cool AC the video game!!! It better be a two player game, I certainly can't see myself plopping my fat ass in front of the TV for this game without having someone to argue with. I gotta say NO to this one, Biker Build-Offs are still good to watch, but quite frankly I'm getting sick of the needless bitching and whining these guys are constantly going off about. And quite frankly the bikes look neat, but if I'm paying $50,000 to $100,000 for a bike with zero performance, freakishly ****ed up frame geometry and no suspension, I'd rather plunk down my chump change on something that isn't a pain to dust or sweep around. Like I have that much room in my garage to showcase glorified artwork. These guys would be nowhere if Discovery didn't find them, but now they are driving Hummers and embarassing the human race - not cool.

At least Jesse James and Billy and Larry and the others built their bikes. Paul trims and assembles them but they buy someone else's parts. They don't build frames or tanks or wheels or hardly anything. And for this they want 100,000 per bike?
