Is anyone out there riding a used bike thats an 06 or 07?
I heard that a friend of mines boyfriend sold his 07 gsxr 600 for only 6000 and she didnt think of telling me!!
I see some 07's GSXR's listed for 9000-9800+, why would I pay this, thats more than they are new!! a lot of the others and especially 06's are around 7500-8500obo, how far down can you negotiate on one of these? what would be "low balling".
I know on bikes in the F3/F4/F4i range that there isn't much negotiating, maybe 100 or 200 and you can find a buyer fast.
i'd love to get an 05/06/07 RR, 636 (not in 07), gsxr, zzr 600, etc......but don't know how much i should offer.

Thought you elected to stick with your F3 for a few more years?

to me bikes are so easy to buy/sell i don't see why i would stay with the F3 for that long. I had thought I would keep it a little longer but i'd really like to jump to a newer gixxer or RR just because they "look cooler" no other reason really!
although i will probably keep the F3 for awhile because financially i can afford this one easier since its paid off.

yeah I feel the same way too, the new bikes are SO technologically advanced and light years ahead of the people on them for the most part. back in 1998 this F3 was tearin up the racetrack with the zx-6r and gixxer 600 and doing a damn good job at keeping up and beating them on all the driveability ratings. It took suzuki all the way til 05 to make a decent looking, powerful bike of the F3's caliber with the new ZZR-600.
i just need to make a few more touches to the F3 and i will like it even more.
get some new tires, bar ends, mirrors, adjust the chain and i'll be set for quite awhile. I wouldn't mind upgrading the brakes either.

They sell 07 600RRs for 7985 + your local sales tax. Brand spanking new. You have to go to chattanooga to get it though.
