Ipod Stolen!!!

So for the last week I have had several issues. From coming home from NY and having no washing machine to having the suspension on my Jeep installed incorrectly. well ive got yet another thing to add to my list of bad events... my Ipod was stolen! Last night I had to go to my grandmothers house to do my laundry (my washer broke 2 weeks ago and we bought a new one but it was defective and the motor broke, new motor will be in next Tuesday) and of course I took the jeep because its my only vehicle and because she lives in College Park (Prince Georges County) there was no way I was going to take the bike cause no garage. Well, I make sure to get all my stuff out of it and lock it up nice and secure because her neighborhood isnt the best place to live... except, I forgot my Ipod sitting right on the center console. What a moron I am! the car was parked there for not even 10 hours and it was lifted... just my luck! I wasn't even mad when I found out either, I just shrugged it off and drove in to work. Really I guess I cant blame anyone but myself cause I was the dumb*** who left it in the car in the first place but come on now, how screwed up is the world that you cant have anything nice these days? thank god I got my computer fixed and working properly with all my music. At lunch today I went out and bought a new Ipod (cause Im a balla like that) and it was actually 100 bucks cheaper than the last one I bought. Go me! Still sucks though... Dont ever leave anything nice in your car if you actually intend to keep it... at least not in PG county, MD. :cursin:

That sucks ass....was there any damage to your vehicle? On a different note. I've heard rumors that Apple is coming out with a new ipod. Basically, it'll be like the Iphone, but with the phone stuff stripped out, and the hard drive upgraded to an 80-120gig drive. Keep in mind that these are rumors, and that I haven't heard anything concrete. However, if I were Apple, I'd wait to announce it til September, and release it for sale in October to take advantage of the Christmas sales.

that sucks man...I know I've done similar dumbass things in the past haha. but damn I wish I was rich enough to shrug off having to replace an Ipod :lol: also the next gen ipods are supposed to have a feature where if someone steals your Ipod they can't charge it so it becomes a useless brick basically.

Sorry for your loss, theives suck. Me personally, I just turn on the radio. When one station doesn't have a good song, I change the channel. When NONE of them have good music, I listen to the exhaust tone of my vehicle.

What's up with people and Ipods...we have an issue here with people losing their ipods daily

My ipod is velcro'd to the back of my Helnet with industrial velcro. I have the nano works great for riding. I have chatterbox audio speakers mounted into my Scorpion helmet :wink:

ehhhh that sucks! It doesn't suprise me something like that would happen in PG County... I'm familiar with the area. When I lived in Waldorf MD from 93-98 it wasn't that bad until my last few years there... I can only imagine how bad it is now. :yikes:
