Ever ride a Banshee? I have mad respect for those things. They are just insane. That 2 stroke 350cc twin (same engine as the old Yamaha RZ350 street bike) was fast as hell. I rode one when I was 17. The engine was ported and polished, carbs were jetted, it had Toomey racing pipes on it. Extended swing arm. That thing scared the piss out of me and I grew up racing dirt bikes and I owned a CR250 at the time. One badass machine. I guranteee it would kick the crap out of the one above with the GSXR engine. I own a 750 now and my bike is not even close to being as fast as that Banshee.

It was nearly impossible to keep the front tires on the ground; there are a few badass two stroke quads from that era but I believe the banshee was the king.....:dthumb:

i grew up racing a 1999 banshee that started out stock and ended up a 410 long rod and i raced cross country style races with it, best finish was 3 in a harescramble that was a 1 hour long race, talk about wild ride, balls to the wall for one hour on a bike that topped out in the fields near triple digits
