Bluebolt 08-21-2007, 04:50 PM well i finally found a rightside scoop that looked decent, this one is made out of fiberglass or some similar composite material and made to look like the leftside scoop. Plus hell.... it keeps the ol' dumptruck motor a bit cooler and my nutz too. oh yea it cost nearly $300 after purchase and shipping from the U.K. (i think)
pics, sorry i dont have any outside yet cuz its all wet like.

beanie 08-21-2007, 04:54 PM nice
PiZdETS 08-21-2007, 05:34 PM Does it feed into the airbox or just flow over the air cooled bits? If it hits the airbox, have you noticed a difference in top end or throttle response?
Looks pretty cool, I dig it. I'm liking the look of buells more and more, all because of this forum. :dthumb:

You said it was made to look like the left side one... do they? Or can you tell that one is aftermarket?
Bluebolt 08-22-2007, 04:45 PM it doesnt feed the airbox it just directs more air to the rear cylinder keeping it cooler and making the damn fan under your ass run less. Performance wise i guess it will help because when the rear cylinder gets too hot you start to lose a bit of power and if it overheats the computer cuts the spark to the back until it cools down.
as far as looks, at a glance theres no way you'd know its not stock unless you know. (did that make sence  ) but up close the inside gives it away because the stock one is smooth plastic and this one you can see the fiberglass sheets because its not smoothed inside which kinda sucks. Maybe if i get bored during the winter ill smooth it out myself.

Nice. I want one, but I just cannot justify the cost. Where did you get it? RMK or something like that is supposed to make one that's an exact replica of the LSS... That looks like it might be it... :idk:

Any wheat beer drinkers? I'm not a big fan of them.
