hondaguy 12-06-2004, 11:52 AM Going strictly from a style standpoint. What in your opinion is the coolest, sweetest, hottest, looking bike on the market today?
ZX10R ? YZF R1 ? Maybe its the Aprilia RSV 1000 R ? The new Ducati 999R ? The possibilities are virtually endless.
Just curious as to everyone's thoughts.
GSXR1000DJ 12-06-2004, 12:11 PM OK It was on here a while back and was green. Its from Germany or something and carries a nice price on it as will. I beleave it started with a "M" but I may be wrong. I will try to find it but if you know it let me know.
That was th first bike that popped in my head when reading this. Next would be the GSXR1000. :dthumb:
BikesR4Girls 12-06-2004, 12:22 PM I'm really likin the 2005 YZF R6...black ones...if we're going strictly on style and look. The new gsx-r1000's look pretty good too.
DAN DUBEAU 12-06-2004, 12:33 PM Or any other single swing armed biked. I don't know what is is about them but I would give my left nut for one
GSXR1000DJ 12-06-2004, 12:37 PM Now thats a sweet looking bike as well. :)

Need4Speed 12-06-2004, 01:07 PM I just love the benelli tornado's!! back a few weeks ago, 2 wheel tuesday visited thier manufacturing site, way cool!
I really like the F4SP01 as well.

Oh my yes... that is very nice!!
Gas Man 12-06-2004, 03:26 PM Oh yeah, N4S... that is very nice!! But I would buy a faster bike over a better looking bike. I don't mean to say that the faster bike would be ugly, but faster is faster... RIGHT TWISTY?!??
Need4Speed 12-06-2004, 03:30 PM i'd have to check back on the specs of that and the tornado, just to see how beastly they are in terms of performace.. but looks wise, those 2 are hard to beat.
from alittle more known perspective, this baby is a looker too!!

I have to go with the MV Agusta... even if it is an inline!
The Benelli is right on its' heels, tho.
ScottSellersUNR 12-07-2004, 09:02 PM gotta give the nod to either the Benelli or the Duc999... i hate ducatis (for unlogical reasons) but the new ones look good, i wish i could get my Z with hte duc small A$$ HID...i like it.. outside the that the Benelli gets it overall... either the SS bike ir the TNT nakid... looks awesome too.. a bit pricey but its all out good blend of comfy, exotic (including CF tank sold with it (for us since it cant come on the bike in the US) and performance.. all the riding on 2Wheel tuesday loved it, said it was a great poerformance bike
twisty 12-08-2004, 10:05 AM I have to go with the MV Agusta... even if it is an inline!

This one :pat: Because I'm on it.
bumblebee 12-08-2004, 08:12 PM I think this one is pretty sharp
pickle.of.doom 12-09-2004, 11:51 AM I'm really diggin this:

Very Sweet!
jewfzr 12-09-2004, 11:14 PM I love the looks of the Benelli but it's not much of a performer. Pretty slow. I love the MV, as far as japan goes I think the R1 is the easiest to look at right now. I think the all time best looking japanese bike is the vf1000R. It was a flop but it still looks good today.
fatburg 12-10-2004, 08:06 AM I sure do like the new black R1 myself....this is my wallpaper.

Really? I'm very disappointed with the new design of the Speed Triple. I liked the old one, but don't care for the 2005 at all. I think the main issue for me is that rearend. It looks like they either cut the tail off or placed the rear tire too far back...
twisty 12-10-2004, 09:00 AM I'm with pickle, it's hot...
GSXR1000DJ 12-10-2004, 10:18 AM Pickle...it looks like it can fit in my pocket.
pickle.of.doom 12-10-2004, 11:43 AM Yeah, the back end is a little funny lookin, but ya gotta picture it with that godawful rear fender chopped a bit. I've always been a fan of the speed triple and speed four, was looking in to the triple before I picked up my superhawk... Would probably have bought it, but Triumph Detroit wanted like 3.5k OVER the msrp... that turned me off of that pretty quick.
ScottSellersUNR 12-10-2004, 05:31 PM new cycle world cover bike.... SWEET.. full Carbon fiber frame.... 180-200HP at the wheel bike.....100K$
and that thread aobut the guys 80K bike that got hit led to a discussion aobut how u could spend 80K on a bike... i mention the CF frame... and now theres this cover bike using it, Wanted to post a link for it but i cant find the name.. its something like cystcz or something weird... but VERY NICE bike
And look at hte VTX TEchno Crusiser... for a cruiser this bike is HOT.
twisty 12-11-2004, 05:20 PM Show the pics because I refuse to read Cycle world. It is the worst mag in the world. They take kickback from Cycle manufactors and they just a horrible mag all togather. And you type worse that I do....
Need4Speed 12-11-2004, 09:09 PM I sure do like the new black R1 myself....this is my wallpaper.
I love that black R1 too!! just really sets off the bike in a totally mysterious, stealthy kinda way.

TWISTY, follow the link, has the bike... it'll be a love/hate bike but if u like benelli's youd prob like the czysz bike.

It is a pretty cool bike but the sire does suck
cerveja 12-13-2004, 11:37 AM Yeah, the back end is a little funny lookin, but ya gotta picture it with that godawful rear fender chopped a bit. Dude I thought that was a pocket bike when I saw it! For whatever reason the tires look way disproportional to the frame. Maybe cause the rims and tires blend together, but it just looks like the rubber is 3 feet thick. As for Triumph Detroit overcharging, somehow that doesn't surprise me. They suck in so many ways it's hard to start a list. I have not heard a positive thing about them in the two or more years I've known of their existence. There is a real nice shop on the East Coast out in K-Zoo Territory that I've been to once. They are in the middle of no-where, but they really know there ****. It's not much to look at, but neither is Detroit-Triumph. I just hit their website, sounds like they've upgraded their showroom http://www.lifecyclemotorcycles.com/ I would recommend them anyday. Also Mike (Rev) gets his Ducati gear from a different company somewhere around Detroit, he feels the same way about Detox-triumph. He can probably point you in a different direction as well if you ever find yourself so inclined.
Becca_007 12-14-2004, 08:14 AM LifeCycle is the shop I go to all the time.
Pippi 12-14-2004, 09:22 AM These bikes are pretty hot!!!
 Those bikes are pretty hott!

The website is a pain in the arse, you can't just get a nice decent shot of the bike, everything's all close ups ...but it's definately an awesome looking ride.
twisty 12-14-2004, 05:14 PM There is a huge write up on them in the new Road racing World this month...
hondaguy 12-14-2004, 05:39 PM I think they're pretty much everywhere, cycle world has an article too, but I dont get that mag normally.
Pigface1 12-15-2004, 11:41 AM Nothing even touches the TRE, IMO.

2Fast4U 12-15-2004, 11:45 AM Im with you PigFace....the tornado tre is an awesome looking beast, and from what I know of them, they take great pride in making each and every unit that comes out of their factory!
I'd take one, in a heartbeat !!
pickle.of.doom 12-15-2004, 12:58 PM I know this isn't an option you could go out and buy, but check this bad italian beast out!
twisty 12-15-2004, 03:25 PM Tooo bad it only has 90hp
2Fast4U 12-15-2004, 06:43 PM I know Ducs are an aquired taste for the most part, and while I do like the 999's, that thing looks about as comfortable and stylish as a rock. :yaewn:
twisty 12-15-2004, 08:48 PM YEah that has always been Duc's problem. The seats are paper thin and there clips are in very tight to the rider
drstrangenorm 01-20-2005, 01:39 PM gotta go w/ the new R1
desmo900rider 01-20-2005, 02:39 PM Hands down, no questions...
twisty 01-20-2005, 03:41 PM Thats hot.
GSXR1000DJ 01-20-2005, 03:47 PM Thats hot.
You think so? I am not crazy about it. But thats me.
twisty 01-21-2005, 06:37 AM I mean, Its no Gsxr or anything but it is hot.
2FURYUS 01-21-2005, 09:02 AM Really partial to the Duc 999, but that Benelli is one awesome looking bike.
