i got the call today, finally, that my 08 HD nightster is in. i'll be picking it up tomorrow. it was supposed to be here the 1st week of august which then changed to the 20th. finally, 9 days late, it's here. i'll post pics tomorrow or friday so marko can use the puke smiley some more. at least i get a nice, long holiday weekend to start breakin' her in. :dthumb:

ahem, same here. so how was the ride home? how does she handle? input, need input. (in a Johnny5 voice) the ride home was nice. i love the way this bike gets up and goes (not that my kawi doesn't). it also vibrates a good bit, but that's not always a bad thing for a girl. it's nice to be able to flat-foot a bike for once. i have forward controls on order for it. i find the mid ones get in the way a bit when i put my feet down. more to come as i break her in...

Thanks for the bump guys. Itgirl.. VERY NICE!!! Now remember... you need to get that seat re-worked... and I have just the guy for it. Some kind of nice leather or imitation exotic skin and/or embroidry... I love those all blacked out bikes. I was checking out a 2007 Big Dog K9 Special Edition... I got wood! http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l311/cjclark69/other%20bikes/2008BDM006.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l311/cjclark69/other%20bikes/2008BDM019.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l311/cjclark69/other%20bikes/2008BDM007.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l311/cjclark69/other%20bikes/2008BDM008.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l311/cjclark69/other%20bikes/2008BDM009.jpg

last time I looked at the 1200, I saw what you've got, and it just looks gorgeous. then again I know a good friend that rides an older 1200 sportster too, nothin wrong with an HD if you like it.
