All Other Sportbikes
Benelli, Bimota, Guzzi, Laverda, MV Agusta and anything else without its own forum.
^^ i copied that right from the forums page. that's why i put it in here. it is still motorcycle related, so i don't consider it off-topic...even if it's not a sportbike.
the fork gaiters are one of the things i liked best about this bike. gives it a retro feel. i'd never dream of removing them!!

the ride home was nice. i love the way this bike gets up and goes (not that my kawi doesn't). it also vibrates a good bit, but that's not always a bad thing for a girl. it's nice to be able to flat-foot a bike for once. i have forward controls on order for it. i find the mid ones get in the way a bit when i put my feet down. more to come as i break her in...

Marko, I would just like to confirm that you have the ice climber from the claymation version of "Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer" as your avatar. That is all.
Gas Man 09-01-2007, 01:12 AM Thanks for the bump guys.
Itgirl.. VERY NICE!!! Now remember... you need to get that seat re-worked... and I have just the guy for it. Some kind of nice leather or imitation exotic skin and/or embroidry...
I love those all blacked out bikes.
I was checking out a 2007 Big Dog K9 Special Edition... I got wood!

thanks gasman! i'll definately keep the seat in mind. first i wanna save my pennies for some rinehart slip-ons, make it sound like a harley. not sure what direction i wanna take this in yet as far as mods go, but i do know i want it all black. got some black forward controls ordered for xmas already.
i like that special edition big dog. it needs more black on the engine though. that'd be pretty hot! :dthumb:
King Bob 09-02-2007, 07:59 PM last time I looked at the 1200, I saw what you've got, and it just looks gorgeous. then again I know a good friend that rides an older 1200 sportster too, nothin wrong with an HD if you like it.
