Best movie of all time ?

I did a search on this topic, but didn't come up with anything, so I thought I'd ask, and see what everyone thinks is the greatest movie to hit the big screen, ever? Which one do you watch again and again, and never get tired of seeing? Classic? maybe an action flick? horror? drama? One of my favorites would have to be the Terminator series. I've always liked those. The Green Mile, with Tom Hanks and Michael Clarke Duncan , was awesome as well. These may not be considered the greatest of all time, but they are few of my favorites I could watch anytime.

Green Mile is a great movie. I have yet to see a movie with TOm Hanks that I did not like. Hmmm for me...my all time fave would have to be..... Dazed & Confuzed! Yep that's right. Love watching about a bunch of high school kids on their last of school partying it up. Now why couldn't I have been a a child of the 70's instead of BORN in the 70's? :D :whistle:

the Big Lebowski. I hated it the first time I saw it. Now I've seen it probably 50 times and still catch something new everytime I watch it. Funniest movie ever. "If you mark that frame an 8, you're entering a world of pain."

Titantic made the most money ever. :) If you adjust it to today's dollars, it's still Gone With the Wind, with Star Wars in second. . I think. I've never seen GWTW, though, and hopefully I never will. lol

The Rocky series was great too!! although Rocky V was pretty lame, the other 4 were great!

My favs are American History X and Once Apon a Time in America. But like the masses here are saying there are too many movies out there that capture us in one way or another.

I think as far as the trilogy's go, the vacations have to be the best. Naked Gun's were pretty damn good too :) Bah, i forget so many! The BEST! Evil dead, evil dead 2 and Army of Darkness!

Too Many movies to mention. Top Gun is up there so are the Rocky movies...(Rocky III was my favorite). The Godfather is another really good movie that I saw mentioned. Not one of the best movies but one of my favorites was Fandango with Kevin Costner :dthumb:

Some movies that I grew up with that i'm now pushing to my kids, Sixteen Candles, Breakfast Club, Stand by Me (mentioned) and of course the good horror flicks. Jason, Freddy, Micheal.......

I gotta say my favorite movies are...Shawshank, Casino, all Tarentino movies, Goodfellas, Blow, Boondock Saints, Super Troopers, Half Baked, all Cheech and Chong's, Good Will, Private Ryan, Minority Report and a bunch of others... I like all of those you chose, especially super troopers. Anchorman, 40 Year old Virgin also up there with super troopers. I just watched Ace Ventura Pet Detective on TV yesterday and suprisingly it was still kinda funny. The Maxrix series was not bad either. LOTR series was long but for a audio/visual standpoint was awesome. Confessions of a Dangerous Mind was also a good film I just bought casino on DVD, and Goodfellas has always been in my collection. But my favorite all time movies are Godfather 1 & 2, with Godfather 2 as my favorite. Godfather 3 was a piece of garbage. :puke:

I just saw Grandmas Boy on Saturday. IF you like Nick Swardson, and Adam Sandler style comedy(he did produce it), then youll probably like it. There really is no solid story, but I was entertained. I think Nick Swardson is funny. IF you dont like any of those elements, then youll probably walk out, like the older couple that was in there.
