So I basically broke my ankle for simple figures of speech a couple weeks ago and I rode teh bike for the first time last night. Felt great to finally put on real shoes and get out of this damn boot thing. I'm payin for it today though since I walked on the foot last night, I had it taped. Its hurtin' today. Anyways I might have to sell the bike because my school is holding up my STATE APPROVED financial aid!!! If the tuition isn't paid 9/14/07 i will be un-enrolled from my classes!! The damn financial aid office on campus lost the first set of documents I turned in, and are now taking their sweet time on the second set. So if come next week around wednesday or so I might have to sell a helmet or two to make the payment, then sell the bike to pay for my rent until my new job kicks in. this sucks!!

Start selling crack? jk dude. That sucks... money troubles happen to everyone. You don't have things besides the bike you can sell? I've been selling lots of chit I don't use anymore recently, as my interests have changed over the years. It has mostly ended up going towards my bike and related costs.

hmm i do have a remote control B2 stealth buggy thats equipped for the stock racing category i could off for about 150-200 i'd imagine. put sooo much money into that thing about 8 years ago and it runs like new. and I could sell my BMW for about 2k if I had ever gotten around to putting all the parts on there that it needs. namely suspension and a rocker on an intake valve.

Now you're thinkin... I've been selling off old chit like mad recently because I f&*ked myself financially a little bit. Might as well get SOMETHING for old things you may never use again. And the quicker you do it, the more they will be worth! The absolute LAST thing I would seel would be my R6.

I take it you have your FASFA completed and all. If so it should take but a week or two for the school loans to get processed and disbursed to your school n then to you. I'm waiting for mine too, should have my sub tues and hopefully my unsub later this week or next.:dthumb:

oh yeah FAFSA was done in January, and updated in April for taxes. They needed verification of W2's, which they lost. Then they lost some other form too. sucks. The state has allotted me $4400 for the year, the school just needs to disburse it to me!!

I realize you are not asking for advice but I feel compelled to offer some anyway- you can take it or leave it or just tell me to STFU... I learned the hard way selling possesions to pay bills NEVER works out- you can sell everything you own and bills will continue to pile up- all you succeed in doing is losing money in the long run... You will never get your money out of anything...( short of real estate)- so its a lose lose situation... keep your bike- find another option- there's always a way. :2cents:

That excuse to sell your bike is NOT acceptable!! :iagree: They should allow you to start the classes even if you haven't paid tuition yet. The problem will be if they unenroll you from your classes and then you have to get back into them, though you may be able to override into them if that is the case. I was attending one of my classes for more than a week before I was actually in it and no one seemed to care. Calling the office every day to bug them usually helps too. Good luck!

I went to the financial services office with my wheel chair and put my brace on my foot. haha i don't even need either of them anymore since I can hobble along ok with a lace up ankle brace. anyways the deferred me having to pay my fee's until the 28th of the month so my Fin. aid should come before then and all will be well. oh and I also just sold a transmission and got an amsoil order thats going to net me about $1710 after I pay for shipping too!!! I basically hooked him up super cheap with Amsoil since he was buying my trans.

Don't sell it. Use it as collateral for a loan. When the school finally comes through with your money, pay off the loan.
