The kid is known for trying to find fault with cops and pushed some buttons, but the cop went over board. Which side do you take? I am against the cop, he is a douche. http://world.commongate.com/post/Cop_Gone_Wild_In_Trouble_Over_Motorist_s_Video

Sounds like the cop was the one having the bad nite...and once the kid told him he had a camera in the car, the cop mellowed out...a little too late, especially with the F bombs. Should get a fews days off....

I hate cops. In theory, they are a great idea. In reality, they don't do chit except for become corrupt.

The kids a smartazz and probably baited the cop just to make a video like this....BUT the cop took the bait and should be fired...yes he was way out of line...definitely on a power trip and very unprofessional.

I've been treated pretty well by the cops lately regarding some legal issues, so i really cant complain about any cops i've encountered. remember people, only the bad ones make the news, theres still the other 98% that are never mentioned for letting a speeder off with a warning or driving a drunk kid home instead of giving him a DUI (both have happened to me, the former many a time). i do agree that power corrupts though.

I will say this.... A COP needs to keep his cool at all times. No matter what you are not supposed to talk to someone in that manner. Always stay professional. The kid didn't swerve in his lane, he used his turn signals, wasn't speeding. In the video it says he didn't use his signal which is BS. You can stop and ask him why he is sitting there and ask him to leave. Its called a "mear encounter" if I remember the term correctly. Means you can stop and talk to anyone at anytime. Doesn't mean you can just pull someone over like he did. He needs probable cause to do so. You cannot yell and scream at the kid like that. The COP is going to get fired from his job :nonod: When you get pulled over you are actually under arrest until you get all your info back. (insurance card, reg card and license) After the COP hands you the stuff back you are free to go. So if the COP starts asking you stuff once he hands you your info tell him you have nothing more to say and drive off. LOL....

I couldn't watch the whole thing it made me so mad. I have never had a bad encounter with cops(some were really mad but they stayed profesional). That guy was completely out of line. He should be fired. He gives the good cops a bad rep.:wtf:

That **** was driving me crazy. I think it was a radar detector Heh... I expected to come back here and have people saying, ":wtf: are you talking about?" I thought for a second it was my PC... cause the CPU fan just took a crap and the CPU temp peaked at 96 C... Had to hack apart the fan and regrease that mutha... now we are rollin' at a chilly 42 (vs the 46 it used to run at). :dthumb:

Police corruption is nothing new- the fact that they are getting caught on video now is the only reason they (cops) seem to be getting worse year by year. The whole cop mentality needs to be changed- they need to be reminded that they work for us and that we are not ALL crackheads- that basically we have rights and they are not above them. I know there are good cops out there- but I couldn't agree more with CEO- with time they seem to all form the same "I'm better then you" mentality. :2cents:

that vid made me so mad for the fact that i am actually trying to be a cop im in tne process now and everything and the only ticket on my rcord is for "reckless driving" because this cop tried to make a left in front of me to beat a light and i had to swerve around her so she pulled me over screaming and yelling just like this guy...bottom line now i have this on my driving record and im hoping it doesnt ruin my chances of getting into the PD because of that b**** some cops piss me off but the majority are cool as crap

There really are a lot of good cops. You just don't hear about them as someone mentioned earlier. Our store owner's brother in law is a motorcycle cop. So he and I got to talking about motorcycles and bikes running from the cops. I love how he said "I don't see why people bother getting a motorcycle license when all they got to do it bolt. My bike can't catch those imports much less the cars" And I've been let off without even a warning 3 out of the 4times I was pulled over in my car. And the 1 time I got pulled over for no tag when I first got my bike and had barely readable insurance on top of riding at night with a permit license. He told me "I need you to do 2 things. 1st thing is get an insurance printout I can read. 2nd get your ass home it's night time"
