Went to a viewing tonight of another fallen rider. It always seems to put me in a trance when I sit there and think about it. My friend was only 20 years old, but not squidly at all. He had been riding since he got his license, but made one wrong decision to go out on his bike after a few beers.... and now here we all are, sitting at the funeral home, dazed. It certainly sucks. Here's to all the fallen riders... and learning lessons, unfortunately the hard way.

chin up HBC, just let this be a reminder to keep the booze out of you and the rest of your friends while riding. nobody knows their own limit.

It is a sobering thing to deal with... reminds us of how dangerous this passion is, but also serves as a reminder to be as aware and cautious as we can be. I'm so sorry for your loss... May he RIP. :angelhap:
