In other religions karma is completey different from the common Hindu and western philosophy concepts. They believe karma is referred to as karmic dirt, as it consists of very subtle and microscopic particles. MAny people for some reason get the idea that karma is related to salvation, it is not. A very evil person that has done many wrongs can lead a path to be saved. In Hindu, the most common religion for which western civilization learns of karma, karma is simply a way to judge one's life weather it was good or bad. They firmly believe that if you do good, good things happen, conduct evil actions, and be prepared for the same to fall upon you. Not just humans have karma, every living thing. If that cat tears apart that mouse, then it better be prepared to have a dog tear it apart in return for its actions. (this whole idea is a joke because to a scientist this is just how the food chain works, but people on the other side of the ocean really believe that) There SOOOO much more about this I could go into it's not even funny. I have taken many many hours of sitting in class learning of eastern philosophy as well as their religion. Most religions karma isn't even one thing but rather is involved in either 4-6 (depending on religion) other that described why things happen in how world the way they do, (however a scientist could give you way better answer to why things happen they way they do and they actually have FACTS to back up their answers not silly little philosophies. So I guess if you really believe in it then good for you, but even after studying it and understand completely why they think the way they do and how they (eastern philosophers) came up with these conclusions, I still disagree. I just can't believe that if I go around killing snakes all day long because I hate them that anything bad is going to happen to me. And do not try to argue with me that that is different because it isn't. Karma is the same for all living things so the action and result cycle includes all interaction between animals in this universe not just between human to human. And if you believe in karma you must also believe in the 7 points of chakra along the spinal cord? :slol: Yeah ok. When I stated KARMA is a bitch I was basically saying whatever you do to someone else is gonna come back to you eventually.
