Subway Stamps

Ok Ok :upset: I'm pissed!!! Last night I found out something and confirmed it today with my local subway. Subway corperate is doing away with Subway stamps! :upset: :sadwave: Why you might ask!! Because some arsehole sold his Subway stamps on EBay!!! :bonk: :loser: I eat Subway like crazy! Anything to keep me away from cheeseburgers and freedom fries :lol: ! So I'm a little upset...I was told by one my local Subway manager that they are going to start up some other type of promotion but she was sure what! I was told by somebody else that they are just going to bring them back later... Anyway, I had to vent about it a bit, and wondered if we should email them our complaints...or should we just hunt this EBay guy down and flog him!! :tt:

They don't have em out there? When ya buy a 6 inch, ya get 1 stamp... get 12 inches and ya get 2... save up 12 I think it is and you get a free 6 inch. (subs, pervs)

They are still giving them out around here ! man as much as we eat at subway, we get free subs all the time. This F'n blows. what difference does it make if they are sold on ebay..the food was already paid for, so a free sub is a free sub. WTF !!!!!!!!! This really blows!!!!! My guess is that he was keeping the ones that customers didn't want, and then selling them. One of my tenants used to work at subway and he would bring me stamps sometimes. Said that if the customer doesn't want the stamps, he just tears them off and sets them on the counter. I've also had other employees give me 3 or 4 stamps just for buying a 6 inch sub. I've had many a free sub that I didn't earn. :yesnod:

i guess here in new york they dont give em out, ive been to 4 different ones recently and havent received one of em. Sucks for me

Unless the E-bay stamps were stolen, why should Subway care. you buy the subs and get the stamps, why should they care if I get the free sub? They got their money. Now if the stamps are stolen...that is a criminal matter

Now if the stamps are stolen...that is a criminal matter the majority of these were probably stolen by employees..who in their right mind would actually save up 5,000 + stamps, then sell them for next to nothing on ebay. better yet, why would u sell these in the first place, in such a bulk number.. u know subway has to be investigating these peeps.

Last time I went to Skudway and got a value meal it ended up costing me just under $10. For fast food that seems a bit high. Especially considering I can go eat at the Thai place and spend less and get a way better meal, and also help keep some illegal aliens in this country. LOL BUt for thos Subway lovers I really feel for you :nopity: NOT! LOL

Just found out from a local subway around here, that they are still giving out the stamps, and he hasnt heard anything from subway corporate about them stopping the use of them. Since each one is independently owned, my guess is, its up to each owner to decide whether they want to use the stamps. :confused:

Man I love Subway!!! I cant imagine not having my wallet full of those stamps and having them fall all over the place when I try to use them. :willy:

How do you get a fully stamped card, on e-bay?? if you have the stamps, u can go into the store and ask them for extra cards, so you can fill them up... i'd guess searching for subway would be the only way to find anyone getting rid of a full card already.

my stamps have numbers on them. you'd think if they were stolen theyd be easy to figure out where they came from. I have a couple of cards i've been saving for a broke rainy day! better use them tommorow!!!!!!

All of them do. The problem with tracking them is this...you would have to win the auction and pay for them before you could read all the #'s... that's not money efficient for a company!
