CrunchieJD 12-08-2004, 10:33 PM I've tried to take my 2-year-old son to get his pic taken with Santa, but it's a no-go.....he's terrified of the guy. :willy: So in your opinion, do I skip it this year, or do I get them taken anyways, with him in his "natural state" to laugh at later :sob: ?
Need4Speed 12-08-2004, 10:40 PM hey, what do you mean, YOUR 2 year old son...what havent u told me.. :tt:  damn gas man !!!!
he's only 2..if we wait till he's 3, its not that big of deal...why get him all worked up about it. ok I'll just dress up as santa and get him used to it first!!
Captain Morgan 12-08-2004, 10:42 PM I say don't torture the kid. If he's afraid of Santa right now, it's no big deal. After all, the kid is only two. If you absolutely must have a picture this year, then just sit on the floor with your son in front of Santa. That way you get your picture, and the little tyke doesn't have to get upset by sitting on some stranger's lap. ;)
Captain Morgan 12-08-2004, 10:43 PM OR, if you wanna make Santa REAL happy, then YOU sit on his lap and hold the little guy.

That's a good idea...haven't thought of that. I don't know if I'll do it, but I'll keep it in mind in case the grandparents insist
Need4Speed 12-08-2004, 10:47 PM I'll be santa, and u can sit on my lap!! :runaway:
Tippy 12-08-2004, 10:54 PM I can dress up as Santa too... I would make a good Santa... :yesnod: I know that he wouldnt be scared of me...

You know, I actually thought of that! Great minds think alike......................so do ours!
3BoyzNaBike 12-08-2004, 11:10 PM Any pic is better than nothing! Last year we didn't even have a chance... Austin just ran by him and said "I want a skateboard" and out the other side he went! This year I haven't even tried. I fear I may never get a pic of him and santa again! :nonod:
bumblebee 12-09-2004, 12:48 PM That's a good idea...haven't thought of that. I don't know if I'll do it, but I'll keep it in mind in case the grandparents insist
If they insist...let THEM take him and deal with the situation. Mostly, I think the whole setting of being in public, where it is extremely loud and busy with strangers and some wierd guy in red gives small kids sensory overload and they want no part of it.
pickle.of.doom 12-09-2004, 12:53 PM Load him up on childrens nyquil and he'll be fine! :D

ShanMan14 12-09-2004, 02:41 PM Take him, let him scream. You'll all laugh about it in 10 yrs.
Need4Speed 12-09-2004, 03:14 PM heck, we'd laugh about it the next day!!!
