In your opinion.....

I've tried to take my 2-year-old son to get his pic taken with Santa, but it's a no-go.....he's terrified of the guy. :willy: So in your opinion, do I skip it this year, or do I get them taken anyways, with him in his "natural state" to laugh at later :sob: ?

I say don't torture the kid. If he's afraid of Santa right now, it's no big deal. After all, the kid is only two. If you absolutely must have a picture this year, then just sit on the floor with your son in front of Santa. That way you get your picture, and the little tyke doesn't have to get upset by sitting on some stranger's lap. ;)

OR, if you wanna make Santa REAL happy, then YOU sit on his lap and hold the little guy. :lol:

Any pic is better than nothing! :wink: Last year we didn't even have a chance... Austin just ran by him and said "I want a skateboard" and out the other side he went! :lol: This year I haven't even tried. I fear I may never get a pic of him and santa again! :nonod:

That's a good idea...haven't thought of that. I don't know if I'll do it, but I'll keep it in mind in case the grandparents insist If they insist...let THEM take him and deal with the situation. Mostly, I think the whole setting of being in public, where it is extremely loud and busy with strangers and some wierd guy in red gives small kids sensory overload and they want no part of it.

heck, we'd laugh about it the next day!!! :lol: but i'd like to have atleast 1 happy picture with santa at some point..all the ones we have so far of him he's either pouting or screaming..
