those bikes ride awsome, no more vibdation than a duck... thats a pretty nice bike, but aside from the exclusivity a 999 is a much better bike for the buck, that being said if i didnt recently purchase my MV and waiting for my sb8k bimota i would be giving that some sereious consideration!

I'd have to think the guys at Guzzi would have done something about that. thread revival because I can 90 degree Vtwins have good primary mechanical balance. ie they do not need counter shafts huge flywheels etc etc to get them to run reasnaobly smoothly. This is why the 90degree configuration is popular amougst performance Vtwins less mass = faster bike. Narrow angle twins tend to vibrate lots because they don't have good primary balance unless you name is Aprilia and you have been very clever about it. So in general the transverse 90 twins of guzzi especailly the newer ones with the benifits of fuel injection they don't vibrate much athough it does depend on the state of tune of the motor the cruisers and tourers are pretty smooth some of the older sport bikes can be a bit rough in places. None are anywhere near the four stroke single enduro bike I own. The MGS-01 is different again hand build dedicated race motor with not tricky emissions to work around. With chrome bores light wieght internals blue printed and balanced not only do they spin up faster than any Guzzi before it except maybe the 500V8 from the 50's but pretty much vibration free or maybe the world just starts moving by so fast you're concentrating so hard you don't notice. Probally the only draw back is they are not offically road registrable but as far as low volume high end exoctica without the nightmarish maintenance goes they are pretty much a bargain. Well thats a perspective thing should get off my rear and write a review. :D
