Side Effects

Have any of you noticed that some of these drug commercials' lists of side effects are getting pretty ridiculous? I was just watching one for Miraflex or something... half the commercial is the list of nasty things this drug will do to you.. Some included Falling asleep while doing usual activities, like driving. as well as Increased urges for sex and gambling WTF?? Who knows what the hell the drug is even for, but it can't be worth blowing all your money on hookers and gambling just before dying on the way home because you fell asleep at the wheel :lol:

I like the depression medicine that talks about making you impotent and cause loose stool... How depressing is that?

It was just on the news that those boner meds like Viagra and Cialis can cause deafness.....then, again, that may be a plus...Don't have to hear how lousy you were, or didn't cuddle long enough, etc.:slol: But yeah, many side effects are worse than the disease.....and they classify reefer as a schedule 1 narcotic! Go figure...:nonod:

And also, It just ain't a real domestic violence incident without one or the other participant bein' all liquored up:cheers: There are a couple of cops in my family and one specialized in domestic violence situations. He said the vast majority involve alcohol or other drugs like crystal meth or crack. From what he experienced, he couldn't recall any perp being stoned on the herb.

Well dur, no one's violent when they're high on herb! As far as the original topic goes, it is a bit ridiculous all the crazy side effects with some drugs. Then again, some of them are worth it. For instance, I'm usually more worried about not sleeping due to insomnia than sleep driving or something like that which happens rarely. And then there are things that are not worth it like having side effects from calcium build up back when I was taking tums only for my stomach.

The idea is that after four hours the tissue in the area starts to die, which is why no one reccommends having an erection for any longer than that. I'm pretty sure that doesn't only apply to drugs like Cialis but rather to the concept in general. Yeah, I read a lot :readng:
