Its a Gary Fisher Piranha. Its what I ride in my off time. Although im not use to the front suspension, so I was doing a pretty fast stopie today and I went up and when I shifted my weight forward the front uncompressed and tossed me. my left elbow is F'ed!!!! but its a sweet ride.
jetskifast 10-28-2007, 12:08 AM Nice bike:cheers:
For the money you cannot beat www.fezzari.com/mountain.htm
I own Alta Peak XR and Abajo peak pro. These bikes offer quality parts at cheap prices:cheers:
Back _Marker 10-28-2007, 12:18 AM sweet bike bro...
how much did it cost?
-a|ex
GearGrabinGuy 10-28-2007, 12:20 AM Well he was askin 600 but I talked him down to 550. And he gave me 50 bucks for an old sharty bike I had. So I walked out the door for 500, and its an '07 model. The '08 has a few better options like hydraulic dics brakes, but it was 800 bucks.
trock 10-28-2007, 02:11 AM So i'm guessing you are strapping a weedeater to it?

ceo012384 10-28-2007, 03:23 PM Cabled disc brakes suck. Upgrade to something like a magura louise fr in the front. Rear isnt as important.

IDK seem to be great for now. It seemed to lauch me right over the handle bars quite easy! Once my elbow is feeling ok ill get some wheelie and stoppie pics up here for ya. But I cant apply any weight on my left arm. So its useless (AHH my clutch hand!!!)

Those 100 dollar "full suspension" bikes are pieces of chit for actual mountain biking. Chitty components, chitty ride, heavy, etc etc etc. Just to ride around the street, fine.

GearGrabinGuy 10-29-2007, 10:56 PM Naw im not into anything hard core, I just had 500 bucks burning a hole in my pocket and thought Ill get a bad ass bike that ill never use to its fully potential.. Of corse i use it silly! Why would I get it if I didnt? that would just be crazy. Im getting into downhill and stunting.

I'll take a snowmobile or an ATV... Man designed the internal combustion engine for a reason, so we don't HAVE to walk/run/pedal anywhere!
GearGrabinGuy 10-31-2007, 12:10 AM Yeah last I checked I dont think they let ya pimp them around campus.. it would be nice. Theres nothing wrong with stayin in shape. Just means lighter weight so i can dig them corners better this summer on my moto!
