As much as I dislike eagles (And find it more apauling that one is our national symbol). I love that bird. Mainly becuas ever since I hit a deer with my truck I've grown a hatred of them. Oh yeah and almost slamming into one on my motorcycle while doing 70mph didn't make me a fan either. So I'm glad to see Bambi go. Deer serve no purpose to humans anyways. They tear up crops, destroy vehicles, and just take up space.

Which is why Benjamin Franklin disliked it as our national Symbol. And his suggestion of the national bird being a Turkey was far superior. But Mr. Franklin was far superior to any American to ever live and probably will always be superior until the collapse of our nation. I think this nation has lost the principles it was founded on in favor of what makes more $$ and what makes me feel good at this very moment type of mentality.
