guitar hero 3

my cousin n his nephew play the last ps or xbox version. But was talking of buying a 360 n getting this :lol: Then again he is 400lbs+ so wtf else is he gonna do :lol:

when did it come out? I didnt play it but i think my friend said he played it for 16 hours straight yesterday and beat it. He said his hands were still sore the next morning :lol: They had one of those wall mirrors next to the TV when I walked into their place. I asked what that was about and he said "oh there's one song where the notes are reversed, so I just set up the mirror and looked through it at the notes so i could finally beat it" :rofl: that dude is hardcore...

:cheers: pickin it up today....hoping to go through the whole game on Hard mode...but thats just how I roll. Also, I think it's coming out for PS2 as well, so I don't think you need a 360 for it.

it came out for ps2, ps3, and 360; don't know when must of been last week. I posted this because you can play on live and I got it for 360 because live support is much better than ps3's sucky internet.

I thought the official release date was sunday...some stores might have broken the release date and sold it early though. :idk:

I got a 360 and have only played it a couple of times. I bought Tony Hawks Project 8, Halo 2, Quake 4, and that sucky a$$ Transformers game. I wanna get Halo 3 but am kinda waiting till the craze dies down. I tried playing the Guitar Hero 2 with my friend on PS2 and He would cream me, but before that I had never played it. It was cool, but I couldn't see buying a special controller just to play the game. Besides, I like the FPS genre games. Something about poppin the enemy in the head with a shot just sends chills down my spine. :redevil:

I'm a huge FPS fan myself...been gettin my Team Fortress 2 on for the past couple weeks or so....that game has the most awesome art style I've seen in a loooooong time. Still, it's kinda nice to take a break from the head-shooting every once in a while. Back when Guitar Hero 1 came out, we tried it out with one person on the guitar, and one on the controller....The controller was easier, but no fun at all. The guitar controller makes the game much more immersive.

I may have to pick it up just to smoke my friend. He may be able to smoke me at guitar hero but I could out skate him at any Tony Hawk game :hawk:

Getting it for the wii for the kids! But they won't be able to play with it til Christmas :)

Yup, I got my copy. just gotta go pick it up soon as my damn bike runs again. but once thats fixed, you'll never see me on here, I'll be playin guitar hero 3 all damn night.

hey, when you finally beat "Play with Me" by Extreme on hard mode, after the 5 solos at the end kick your ass for a week....thats a good feeling right there. I think this is expert, but hard isn't much easier than this. :yikes: lK-sLU8HhDc

I just completed Through the Fire and Flames on Expert.... Does it come with a wireless controller? The one I got a best buy did, a les paul gibson lookalike. The one at walmart with the xplorer controller I almost bought did not.

Anyone here play the new game out called Skate? Its pretty sweet! You use the right thumbstick to control the board and your feet. So an kickflip would be down then up and flick it to the right. if your into those games, its a must have.
