Hi B'fly :hug: My friend Mike has a SV650 and loves it. I think he's close to 5,000 miles on it this year. He's got an older harley ( early 70s) and a nice Star. Bike of choice is the SV Just make sure you're comfortable on the bike. Seating position ( including how the seat fits your butt ) and how your body positions over the bike are things to consider in addition to wear and tear ( I'm assuming you'll be getting a used bike as your first ) Have fun :cheers: :seeya: Jeff
