I don't think so on that one.

I think that katana is pretty sweet !! show's great ingenuity on the part of the owner. Im surprised there aren't more of these sportbike trailer combos out on the road.

They may look sweet but they are like a mo-ped. You may own one but don't want your friends to see you on one.

Why wouldnt you want to be seen on one...it looks cool, flows with the bike, if your traveling, if anything, it makes you look smarter for not bogging yourself down with saddle bags, tank bags, and back packs... don't see anything wrong with that. and if you are referring to the katana makeover, I love it..always great to see people modding out their bikes and doing something different.

Modding the bike is one thing. If your going to travel and go a good distance. haul your bike or get a BMW or Goldwing. They're made for that...not a sports bike. Just doesn't look right riding on a sports bike with a trailer behind you. Just my :2cents:

I disagree, hooking up a trailer may or may not be the most fashionable thing to do, or whatever you want to call it, but atleast you're out riding your bike instead of sitting inside on 4 wheels. Just my :2cents:

Well...we all have our own thoughts on this.

I can see 2Fast's point. The best thing about that bike with a trailer is that he can ride to the gap and carry extra tools, clothes, etc., then unhook the trailer and ride ON the gap with a sportbike instead of a BMW or Goldwing.

You ride on a sports bike from where you are or me to the Gap and lets see how you ride like h3ll on the Gap. Its not going to happen. Thats to long of a ride like that. :skep:

exactly..nobody said you had to do the run all in 1 day..enjoy the scenery, take your time, get down there at a nice leisurly pace..and be fresh for the gap. and your not bogged down with all that gear/equip on ur bike.

I think it's a great idea, especially instead of riding in a cage. And like was said, you don't gotta ride same day, but you get the enjoyment out of a nice long ride. And one more thing...the trailer sure beats making your girl ride with 10 million backpacks on!!!

I think the trailer Kat is AWESOME!! But I'm digging the stretched out one! For one, I hate the stretched out bikes! Too many squids doing it!! In the last few years I've seen a ton more of these tank style squid bikes show up in places such as Royal Oak. They suck and I'm sure do nothing but slow you down in the corners.... LMAO!!
