What is it with that rear seat? Looks like it's too big for the back of the bike. I like the rest of the bike, it just needs a decent cowl for there (not the busa camel hump)

look at my avatar it has a big hump...i had bough a brand new one..second day out i knock it off with a quick twist of the throttle. The torque is unforgiving and my fat ass broke the tab on it i guess and i lost it on the highway...:cursin:

All TLR's/TL1000's had the rotary rear damper in place of the shock absorber. It wasn't until the debut of the SV1000 that they went to a conventional set up.

There were replacement conversions for the Penske units to convert the rotary to a conv. set up.

Sorry Bro, I must grossly disagree with that ...the RC51 front fairing is bugly looking and dosen't even come close to the sex appeal of a TL1000R..:wink:

personally, i the think the rc headlights, front end, mid section, tail, duel exhausts... are all pure sex and scream hardcore race bike... unlike the cookie cutter gsxr where it looks like the rest of its stable mates....... but the headlights on the tiller are the best peices of the bike

Any body can paint! I was talking about the actual bike if painted the same, love the single sided swing arm, undertail, tail still looks like a tail, and the tube frame!

i think im still feeling the tiller more here. the lines on that frame scream futuristic wheras the tube frame on the rc seems (to me anyway) more conventional. looks like something you might find priss asagiri on
