this chick was nuts, well educated, researched her facts, but contradicted herself numerous time, what killed me was the fact that she said you can live just as healthy of a life with eradicating meat from your diet without taking any suppliments, this entire argument was based on comparing vicks animal cruelity to how we slaughter cows and chickens, she stated there was no difference, we dont need to kill the cows and chickens but we do because they taste good:motz:

Ya know, I betcha she doesn't think twice when she runs over a snake in her car, or snaps a rat in a mouse trap.... but anyways that's neither here nor there. I don't know that many vegitarians, but those I do know, typically supliment their foods with vitamin enriched foods (ie, costs more because you're basically taking supliments thru the food), take actual supliments themselves, or fall somewhere between..... Those that I know who don't do that (only like one or two) look god damn sickly ill and are in pretty bad shape in my eyes... We do because we need nutrients! I still like me some deep fried red snapper fresh caught from the gulf. I need to go to NOLA and go deep sea fishing with my grandpa again soon.

fresh seafood is where its at, down here its 5.99 # for key west pinks (huge shrimp, fresh count) buy 2 get one free.. its a tough life but someone has to do it

That's the only thing I miss about NOLA besides my family of course. The food is amazing. The food in knoxville sucks balls. It's all chain crap around here.

I have watched people bring in record blue marlins off commercial shrimp boats in my nice shrimpin boots. Nothing like spendin hours reeling in one fish with old school without the new rod and reels. Damn, I need to find a pic of me in my pimpin white shrimp boots.

Dude, I was raised in the bayou and grew up in the gulf of mexico. I have watched people bring in record blue marlins off commercial shrimp boats in my nice shrimpin boots. Nothing like spendin hours reeling in one fish with old school without the new rod and reels. Damn, I need to find a pic of me in my pimpin white shrimp boots. Yeah that was when the Mahi were runnin' one weekend.... had a vid of one jumpin, was flucking beautiful w/ color, but I dunno where it is ATM.... we ended up pulling in ~ 12 of those that morning if I remember right. Typically w/ the Mahi's we get 'em up close then sling 'em into the boat and take a bat too 'em if they're floppin' around a lot.... as you can see that one got away. He's brought in a couple of other billfish (mainly the black marlins), using the same lure.... he typically doens't use it (the lure) anymore since he said he's caught more than his fair share... He caught that one before I made it out to the island in '03. He's still got the bill and tail I think... I'll have to ask. Yeah would like to see some of those when you can ever get ahold of 'em.

My grandpa has one big azz blue thats been preserved on his wall. He had one that was some kind of record for the area, but I think my uncle took it and everything he owned got lost in Katrina. I will try to get some pics next time I go down.
