I have yet to see professional racing in person. I am hoping to make a trip out to cali for the MotoGP round, but in reality that's probably not gonna happen.
I would however like to catch a race next season.
..... and I think i'd like to get a bike trip out of it as well. I was thinking mid-ohio... but I can't stand Ohio... so what would be even cooler would be riding to Ludington and taking the ferry over to WI. Have any of you other MI guys ever done that? I know it takes a few hours to get across the lake, but it seems like it would be pretty cool.
Do you WOS folk take a trip to any of the races within riding distance?

WOS goes to Mid-Ohio Races every year. Most of us ride there and somebody follows with a car and trailer for back up and luggage.
Check it out on the WOS forum for more details...I think there is a thread out on it?!?!?!

Yeah, same thing...I wasn't going to get into the nitty gritty....the other 2 didn't because of a trailer incident totalling a 954!! :cursin:

There's a new high speed ferry that goes across. I don't know all the details but when I was looking into a job in Milwaukee (yes, I almost moved out there a month ago), I was told they have a new high speed version that takes you across the lake. Just an FYI.

C'mon guys! Come on out for MotoGP!!!The MotoGP would be great. Love that part of the country. Wish I could figure out an economical way to get the bike out there.
Mojo- You ever ride 190 east out of Porterville? Kind of makes Deals Gap look tame. Need a parachute if you miss a turn.
