A real downer

The holidays were great. The biggest reason is that my daughter was with me for 11 days. She is at a very fun age. We got into a great routine. Even with all the holiday events, it was very "normal" for lack of a better word. Baths, bedtime stories, cartoons on at all hours of the day.

I had to take her back yesterday at 3:30. Gonna be really quiet around my house after work today.

Any other divorced dads out there that face these times?

How old is your daughter??

She's 4.

And Trip, thanks for the schedule. I thought they weren't gonna have it til January. Gotta line up my weekends. You really need to ride Barber. I wanna hit some other tracks this year, but I gotta do Barber again.

Kudos to you for being a good dad!!
My daughter was at her fathers for Christmas, which totally sucked for me, but i couldnt say no when he asked...there arent too many fathers out there that actually want their kids around!!

Let me know if Barber or Little T in march lines up with your schedule. We need to hit one early.

I'm working on it now. Just emailed the ex about tweeking the schedule. Too bad we just had a bad fight about altering schedules. Cross your fingers. All I'm asking for is a bump in weekends. We'll see

I feel ya, I dont have any lil ones but this was the first christmas by myself. Had to work so I couldnt even go up to visit family. All my roommates left me the house to myself, it was ghostly quiet and pretty much a complete downer of a holiday. The upside is a friend of mine was in the same boat so we hung out pretty much all holiday.
