OK-Which one...Wii or XBOX 360?

I'm leaning toward getting a Wii because of the fun group games-but 360 has some awesome games. Which would you buy?

MODS. please smack the n00b and add somethin' about Tater's Whore of an Ex....

I prefer x 360 for 2 reasons 1. It has games more in tune with what i like - CoD 4 - Moto Gp - etc. 2. I have one already

Depends on what type of gaming you want to do, if you want fun party games and not worried about graphics, go Wii. If you want more serious gaming and FPS with great graphics, PS3 or 360 is the way to go.

X360 more for spending time, alone, with no one to play with but your boyz on Live.

Wii's are freaking awesome. But if it's graphics you want then go with the 360.

360. More and better adult games. And way better graphics. Xbox LIVE is bad ass.

Wii: -fun games -fun to play -entertaining when you get a couple people playing Xbox360: -alot more mature games -awesome online play -awesome multiplayer It really just depends on what u want. I vote 360 tho. Nothing against the Wii cus it can be as fun or more fun than the 360 just depending on the game. My bro got Super Mario Galaxy for Christmas and I just sat and watched him play it and it looked like a really fun game. I havent had time to play it tho.

Still Id like to play it. One game I got really addicted to was the new Legend of Zelda that came out for it. Now that was a classic Zelda game.

we just got a Wii and i absolutely love it!! we also have the N64 and a playstation 2 as well as a PSP. none of those even come close to the fun i have experienced so far with the Wii. but i like the sports games, and the Wii is fun and interactive with those. you also get quite a workout. i'm addicted to brunswick bowling right now. soon gonna crack open the fishing game and plan on purchasing a pool game in the near future. i just love this thing!!

Actually having to do something is what is attracting me to a Wii. Finding one is proving to be a challenge. Wal-Mart has all you want for $677 up.:yikes:

Wal-Mart has all you want for $677 up.:yikes: keep an eye out in unlikely places for them. a video game vendor at the farmers market my hubby and i work at on weekends managed to bag 2 of them to sell. he told my hubby and we wasted no time in claiming one for ourselves. it's the last place i'd have thought to check.

XBOX360! COD4 ftw!!!

We got the Wii in November for the kids (Suzukilady - you will need to call around, find out when stores get their shipments and be there before the store opens). We went directly to the Nintendo store in NYC 1/2 hour before they opened. They get 300 per day and are sold out every day. mtp was 75th in line. This Christmas we got Guitar Hero III and COD3 for wii. The kids also want dance, dance revolution. Tom - I think the best thing about the wii is that it is truly a "group" or family entertainment system. Everyone can play and it is fun. You can also store pictures on it and use is as a digital slide show as well as access the wii internet. :cheers: ~Shannon(logged on as mtp and too lazy to log out and back in)

I have played both and they are both fun but after playing the Wii I am def looking to get one. Its just so much fun to actually be active doing something like that vs sitting on your butt moving your fingers. Wii is also wildly entertaining while intoxicated with several intoxicated friends. We played for 5 hours without even realizing it...:lol:

i have both. (and a ps2) haven't opened the wii yet so have't played it yet. but love my 360. what's funny is i work at best buy, and before xmas wii's were like gold. couldn't find em nowhere. the day after xmas, we had like 20 sitting on the shelf all day and nobody even paid attention. so availablity is getting better.

meh, i just use my laptop for the old stuff. I used to do it with my PC... Nothing compares to having an ACTUAL controller in your hand... Xbox S type or whatever is quality... even for N64. I will say this though, they were better for Genesis than the Xbox controllers.

Flucking hate it. I also like the ergos of the Xbox S controller... and even better, my Logitech wireless controllers... They feel REAL nice... however the triggers are MEGA sensitive...

Yeah, I will get another too, all the games I am hooked on are on the 360. Inferior quality to past crap though, for sure. They all have lots of freeze ups, lots of "disc is dirty" errors, you can have a disc in there and not even move a muscle, breathe on it, or even let a cat walk by where it is stored, and that MF'er will put a big ole scratch in a new disc. You can hear it slap the disc onto the eye every now and then. The quality is not even close to the original XBOX. Hopefully they get ther crap together by the 4th or 5th version of the 360 :lol: Is the PS3 as bad?

They both have thier pros and cons. The WII is good for group games but the thing I dislike is that the games are too cartoony(if thats a word). XBOX on the other hand has real characteristics.... It all depends on what you want..
