Samsung 4661... True HD, 1080p. There's a million other specs out there, but I'm way too lazy to post up all that crap. I researched it and it seems money... Plus I looked at them at Best Lie and Circuit Chitty... It's pretty flucking money.

Gonna have to get us some pics of the setup when you get it done.... what kinda sound system you're gonna have it hooked up w/? BTW... don't forget to get a color calibration done (see one of the older posts I posted on the calibration stuff).

The plasma's I looked at all had shiny screens... the matte finish on the LCD's reflected a hell of a lot less light... Oh... and as far as sound system goes, mine sucks. It's an 800 watt Sony 5 disc DVD changer... It sounds ok, but I'd like to feel the rumble of a 1000 watt system... That's not in the cards for the time being as this thing sounds good enough for now... Since I am going the HTPC route, eventually that rig will go out the window to be replaced by a kickass soundcard and a good PC theatre system... Those are starting to get pretty good from what I've seen...

We picked up a Zenith 50" Plasma at Circuit City for 1099 on Saturday I would post a picture, but I "may not post attachments"

Also with the 1080p. Maybe I'm wrong with this, but from what I know, at this point Blu-Ray players and PS3's are the only things that play true 1080p. I love my Plasma, couldn't justify the extra $800 for the upgraded to 1080p, so I got the 720p version. It works great :dthumb: I haven't noticed a great amount of heat off it, but the picture is great!! Played CoD4 for hours yesterday. Plasma FTW!
